UPDATED: OCT 29, 2014 375 ml bottle @ home. Wow! What a pour, deep red with a lacing white head. Aroma is berries and almonds. Taste is not as tart as othe fruit lambics. Lots of cherries and some marzipan. Heavenly beer!

Pours a red colour with a medium pink head that fades leaving a pink lace. Aroma of cherries with their stalk, with notes of vinegar and wood.Meium body, thick and sticky palate, lively carbonation. Taste of cherries, with the salk, wood. There’s some acidity but then sweetnes ome in to the front. Good one.

Dark red with a pinkish head - Sour cherry aroma - Good body with sour cherry flavour and some hints of wood in the back - The sour cherry goes into a long refreshing finish - This was real good

375 ml bottle from Mikkeller & Friends Bottle Shop (BBE 21/01/26 (sic)) Pours dark red / burgundy with a small pinkish head. Aroma of cherries with hints of brett and barnyard. Reasonable sweet flavor with a strong cherry presence and some brett and barrels. Only moderate acidity. Dry finish. One of my favorites among Mikkellers’ Spontan-prefix beers.

Bottle from SlackerMads, many thanks! Great tart cherry nose with a light funkiness. Taste is loaded with cherries, wood, bit of funk, earthy. Not overly complex, but oh so flavourful. Tart but not overly sour, a bit wine like, drinks like a 3.5% abv, lovely.

Bottle from Apex. Colour...dark, grapey, with a thin white head. Nose...cheese, sweaty feet, gym socks and cherry purée. Palate...dry, tannic, tart, bright and tight with even more cherry and yeasty notes that delightful and thrill the palate with ageless delight.

Tasted from the tap on the 26/05/2016. Unclear dark red colour with a medium pink head. Medium cherry aroma, some wood and Brettanomyces. Taste is moderate sweet, acidic and dry with cherry and tartness. Dry and sweet aftertaste. Next one please!

Wow! ! On tap, Whole Foods Plymouth mtg. Pours deep blood/beet red, like a fizzy opaque merlot in a pint glass. Lambic style on the nose immediately, the sour it not over powering, but the cherry is light. Texture is slightly chalky, but may have been the glass.
