---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour from a bottle is a nice opaque reddish black with a red head. The aroma is a subtle sweetness. When it hits your tongue you immediately taste the sweet cherries and then goes into the sour with a slight oak flavor. Leaves a tart after taste.

Wow! ! On tap, Whole Foods Plymouth mtg. Pours deep blood/beet red, like a fizzy opaque merlot in a pint glass. Lambic style on the nose immediately, the sour it not over powering, but the cherry is light. Texture is slightly chalky, but may have been the glass.

#2500 beer. #100 Fruit lambic. 375 ml. bottle split by 3. BBF 14/02/2021. Colour is incredible, extremely dark ruby red wine, amazing, head unfortunately does not last which is sad because it looks like raspberry mouse, this has to be one of the most incredible looking beers out there. Nose is pure cherries, light iron, pure cherry juice, mild tart and cherry jam. Taste is incredibly big on cherry juice (almost a bit what 3F Intense Red did with kriek’s), tastes like the whole of a cherry, the pit and lots of the skin as well, some bitter skin and touch of iron, spices, hint of wine and red grape skins, cherry overpowers virtually all Spontan notes, light sourness and nice tang + touch of oak. Pure juice body, touch lighter carb. Very nice, Spontan beers to be becoming more interesting lately. Dry.

deep indigo purple with crimson head collapsing to a lacing. Black cherry yoghurt nose. Spiky carbonation, rich fruity cherry. Some lactic notes followed by a citric tartness and long dry cherry skin finish.

On tap at mikkeller stefans. Dark red with no head. Aroma of cherries, cherry piths, marmalade and liquor. Sweet and nice. Taste is fairly sour, marmalade, cherries and bitter cherry pith notes. Very pleasant.

Bottle. Clear dark reed with a large diminishing bubbly pink head. Strong cherry wine aroma, almonds, light oak. Taste is medium sweet and tart, but not puckering sour. Feels light for the abv, no noticeable alcohol but lots and lots of cherry flavor. Near insane drinkability. Medium body, oily texture, medium carbonation. Light dry finish with cherry and almond. I wonder what a bit of aging could add to this.

Bottle. Thanks Jesse! Clear dark garnet red with almost no head. Huge funky sour cherry and musty old oak barrel and wine aroma. Tastes of sour cherry, green apple, citrus, vanilla, and oaky wine barrel with a sweet yet tart finish. Good smooth velvety palate. Very good.
