Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a cloudy reddish amber with a frothy and stable off-white head. Tart, Bretty fruity aroma. Medium body, heavy barnyard, lots of fruit coming through adding to the acidity, a litle yeast too. Almost astringently tart. 230112

(375ml bottle) Pours a hazy reddish-amber body with a foamy off-white head. Aroma of cranberry, herbs, watermelon rind, barnyard, and wood. Flavor of cranberry, lacto, citrus, and herbs with a dry finish.

My Bottom Line :
Three-dimensional fruitiness takes the taster from the crushed skin to the juicy pith and its citric lengths as light wilderness and effervescence contribute more complexity and refreshment.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A slice of foam decorates the beautifully cranberry red.
-Fruit tannins are mildly present, adding to the complexity.
-Flavor intensity is not through the roof, which is appreciated.
-The fruit character is alluring from aroma to finish; great job.
-There is balance between the cranberries and the base Wild Ale.
-This is my favorite of the Mikkeller spontaneous fermentation series I’ve had.

Bottle.

Bov (9443) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JAN 15, 2012
from Erzbierschof - cloudy dark reddish-brown beer under a very foamy slightly pinkish head; vinous and cheesy with notes of raisins and cranberries; pretty sourish, medium to full-bodied; juicy and sourish palate; gently sticky and with a long sour fruity finish

Bottle. Pours a deppish red with some slight hazing. Large very pale pink head that last well leaving some lacing. Nice tart aromas show plenty of the fruit. Some acidity, a little candii sugar sweetness and brett funkiness also in support. Slight chalkiness as the beer warms slightly. Flavours initiallyshow a little sweet from the fruit. This is quickly replaced by some intense sourness. Very dry finish. Really enjoyed this one.

Bottle @ home. Clear red like coloured beer with lots of carbonation and a huge but diminishing pinkish white head. Slightly fruity and peppery hinted aroma. Full light sprankling palate. Finish is sour fruity with a longer sour dry ending. No clear indication of cranberries but certainly a nice fruit lambic.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear red with a white (with a pink touch) champagneish head . Tart with some sweetness. Tastes quite like a gueuze with cranberry aromas towards the end. Also malty hints. Medium to light bodied. Quite lively carbonation. Dry and tart finish with more cranberries.

Scopey (6713) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 11, 2011
Bottle from a trade. It pours cloudy red, with a gigantic off-white head, The nose is farmyard, medicinal, cranberry and some candy floss. The taste is tart raw cranberry, berry sweetness, wood, lactose, sharp citrus, alcohol warmth and rasping sourness. Medium body and lively carbonation. Interesting, but not as drinkable as some of the others in the Spontan-series
