Thick head with large bubbles underlying a layer of thin foam (which tastes delightful all on its own). Extremely sour cranberry flavor, strong cranberry aroma. Color is pinkish-orange, not quite amber. Palate is thin, sharp, acidic, and sparkly. Absolutely fantastic.

Courtesy of and thanks to tderoeck. 375 ml. bottle sampled @ “Procrastinated Spontaneity /…………/ 2 Boekjes” tasting @ Gent. Pours a dark ruby orange with a pink head. Nose is full of nicely tart cranberry juice, very fruity, acidity, touch lemon & faint herbs. Light bitter oak upfront, very fruity, lots of cranberry leading into nice cranberry acidity, fruit skins, light brett, lovely togetherness, drop of vinegar. Very unified, lovely taste. Touch higher carbonation which works wonderfully for the beer. Delciious.

Bottle shared amongst friends. Opened along side Spontangrape. This was one of the best beers of the night. Great sour funk aroma mixed with cranberries. Nice tarty flavor with big hints of fruit. Just an outstanding sour!

Bottle @ Dan’s house, courtesy of camons. Thanks René! Cloudy, pinkish orange appearance with a lively, light pink head. Sweet, quite tart cranberry, effervescent, funky aroma. Quite tart, very rich cranberry, very sour, big barnyard, quite funky, oaky flavor with a puckering, berry finish. Fuck yeah.

chilled 375ml bottle. Pours a perfect cherry tinged orange and big foamy head, lasting power could be slightly longer tho. Aroma is a soft mix of cranberry, lambic, kriek. Flavour is tart gueuze with cranberry just below the surface, all well balanced. Very tart finish. Very good. Very, very good.

Bottle at Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Pours an extremely bright red with a clear glow and a white top that slowly fades in a fizzy way. The top appears actually pink at the second glass. The nose has Lots of berries and when turned in the glass Its blasting the sour berrie- notes away. Reminds mé of what you find in the Lou peppe Series. Hints of grape and wet hay. The taste is fiercly sour with a mild and long sourish and bitter finish that ends up with a very dry finish. Lots of berries with hints of Wood and citrus. Great one that deserves another try... And another

Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.
Pours fine clear red with a big, fizzy, frothy, white-pink head. Heavy fruity aroma, that good dry note from cranberry, some red currant notes, funky, light tart. Mild oaky dryness as well. Medium to high carbonation, drying, oily and wonderful mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of magnificent fruitiness, dries out my teeth immensely, mild funk. Tart grape-skin, red currants and lots of apparent cranberry. The best of the ’spontans’ yet.

My Bottom Line :
Three-dimensional fruitiness takes the taster from the crushed skin to the juicy pith and its citric lengths as light wilderness and effervescence contribute more complexity and refreshment.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A slice of foam decorates the beautifully cranberry red.
-Fruit tannins are mildly present, adding to the complexity.
-Flavor intensity is not through the roof, which is appreciated.
-The fruit character is alluring from aroma to finish; great job.
-There is balance between the cranberries and the base Wild Ale.
-This is my favorite of the Mikkeller spontaneous fermentation series I’ve had.

Pour out of 375 mL bottle is dark red, nice and hazy, big thanks to Renee for the pour. Aroma brings notes of cranberries, hints of funk, basement, touch of vanilla and nice oaky tannic notes. Taste is a nice mix of cranberry and tart lemon, vanilla, and tart oak, hints of biscuit and slight red berry notes, finish very tart but fairly funky. Nice, nice stuff.
