Bottle from Mikkeller webshop. Pours beetroot red with a thick pink hue on top. Nose is super tarty which works nicely with the slight sweetness throughout. Blueberries are everywhere in this as expected. Some light hay/straw with heavy tart, minimal sugar which is a great thing and long blueberry on the finish. Nice tartiness throughout which works a treat. Not mind blowing but a good sour

Tap at Mikkeller BKK...sometime beginning of February. FULL ON. If you can find this one, get it. I don’t know how often I rate Appearance as a 5, but this beer is blue. Full on brett blueberry funk on the nose. Blends somehow brilliantly and perfectly. You know it’s gonna be a puckerfest. A touch of sweet fruity malt up front before a blast of wood, barnyard, and in comes the blueberries - abound! All over. But sour blueberries, just heaven. Brett and wood in the finish, everything lingering forever - this is one fucking tasty beverage!

Flaska på GHs office. Svagt funk och massivt blåbärsfundament. Tung i största allmänhet.

Old rating rerated 17.03.2014, 0,375l bottle @ home:
Nice purple creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet fruity, berry skin, grass, lots of blueberries, heather, hints of paint and butterscotch. Taste is slightly sour-ish dry, sorrel, berry skin, grass, soda powder, unripe blueberries, heather, unripe gooseberries. Medium bitterness, nice dry acidity. Nice one!

37.5 cl bottle @ home (shared with a few people). Pours deep, dark red with a pink head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are blueberries, red berries, sugar, a little tartness, oak, and vanilla - with a fruity and ever so slightly tart finish

Keg@CBC2013 Deep blue-red color, red blueberry head. Loads of blueberry berryness. Medium-bodied. A tart, tannines, blueberry is very dominant. Most blueberryish beer I’ve ever had

Had it twice - the first time it was the best sour beer experience I ever had, the second rather disappointing. This rating will mostly reflect the first experience. Pitch black in the bottom of the glass, dark purple near the top, bottom foam is purple, fading into pink and at last clean white; truly a piece of art ! Smells super funky, horse blanket, sweat, almost olive like, super bretty and fresh - and of course blueberries! And loads of them. Taste is extremely sour, but leaves a nice bread-like fatness on your tongue and tons of blueberry awesomeness!
