Nose has a heavy raspberry presence. Flavor is hurt by heavy carbonation. Too much raspberry must. Good acid level. Admirable effort.

12 ounce bottle purchased at The Davis Beer Shoppe. The aroma on this is heavily sweet, and fruity with hints of raspberry. There is also a little acetic and lightly lactic funk present, too. Light cheesiness. Very nicely aromatic. The body is a mostly opaque garnet-amber color with a small, light pink head, which is pretty frail. Starts a bit tart, sharp, and acidic, but not overly so. Some raspberries come through in the middle, with more light acidity and sweetness. Finishes with a bit of a wheat-like chewiness present. Nice, fine bubbly carbonation present here. I think this beer came out pretty well, but it just seems to lack the added layers of complexity that the guys in Belgium seem to have. Still a solid beer.

Musty, dusty cobweb, crabapple, red raspberries aroma. Rose petal and skunk also detected. Clear ruby red, thick fizzy pink head with little retention. Crabapple and plum skins. Dry tart, and slightly bitter rose petal finish. Pretty nice at room temperature.

Bottle, thanks Evan. Deep, cloudy red with brownish hues, medium carbonation, and sticky webby lace. Nose is very fruity and fresh, lightly minerally, earth, lots of raspberry flesh and seeds. Nice, balanced fruity and tart flavor. This is really well done. fairly staightforward, but without not overly acetic or too sweet and no plastic. Slightly salty, light raspberry vinegar fruity finish. Might be the best sour I've had from Mikkeller.

Red brown pour, little head. Aroma is fruity, sour, berry. Taste is mostly sour but there is a fruit finish. I couldn’t say it was raspberry though.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cloudy dark reddish brown with a fizzy white head. Huge raspberry, grains of paradise, Belgian yeast, and doughy aroma. Thick creamy palate. Sweet raspberry and chocolate taste up front immediately followed by a tart sourness and lemon taste, and ending with light pepper notes and a tart fruity and dry oaky finish. Damn good. Mt favorite Mikkeller spont thus far.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A sparkling cloudy berry red colour with a fast settling medium rouge head. Smells like the Bretty farmhouse ale with loads of sour berries. Well carbonated, but creamy too it tastes tart berry fruity sour, some citrus style bitterness, some alcohol present at finish.

Draught at Ørsted, Copenhagen
Cloudy red color, with medium sized pink and compact head. The aroma is deep, old cellar, Bretts, some hazelnut; and a lot of fresh raspberries; very nice; there is a feety trace later. Dry and sour mouthfeel; the fruit is present, but the Lambic noble character less, and there is some wet wood as well; the final is moderately astringent.
Good, not exceptional; I also prefer less alcohol in fruit Lambics.
