Bottle. Poured clear reddish brown color with an average frothy tan head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate complex tart sour aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium sour tart flavor with a medium sour finish of moderate duration. Sour refreshing brew.

A steady pour into my New Belgium globe glass produces a two finger thick, pink tinged head, that leaves a touch of lacing on the sides of my glass. The beer smells strongly of raspberries, seed, skins, pulp and all. This is backed by a tartness that is light behind the raspberry sourness and there is perhaps a touch of mustiness here as well, and perhaps a touch of straw like grain character.

Quite dry, definitely quite tart (almost puckeringly so), the raspberry flavors are quite apparent, though not quite as prominent as they are in the nose. The finish has a hay like, and even cracker like grain / malt character to it, and there is also a certain bitterness / astringency here (raspberry seeds and oak perhaps). Fairly light bodied, definitely quite quaffable, but there is a certain viscosity here that is made up of raspberries and lactic acid slickness.

The raspberry character is very rich and dense, somehow jam-like despite the lightness and dryness of the beer. This beer is certainly not the most complex beer in the world; it is mostly raspberry, with just enough other things going on to not seem overly one-dimensional. Actually fairly enjoyable

1900th rate! 375ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark pink with a thin head. Aroma is sour and cheesy, with some tart raspberry seeds underneath. Taste has tart raspberry to start with a sour, cheesy finish.

Poured from a 375 ml bottle. Pours a murky purple with very little, lightly pink head. Aroma is funky tartness with a raspberry persuasion. The fruit is very vibrant. Taste is dry, tart, fruity raspberry with a definitive bitterness in the finish along with the dry tartness. Dryness is a little more than what I like in my fruit lambics. Aside from that, its pretty good.

Poured from a 375 ml bottle, thanks to the Boise crew. Notes of raspberry, dusty, citrus, slight grain. The finish was a bit bitter.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours ruby pink with a small light pink head leaving ok lacing and quickly disappearing. Nose is of sweet and tarty fruits. Hints of strawberry, raspberry and peach. Light horse blanket. Taste shows major tart and funk throughout. Lots of sweet red and berry like fruits - strawberry, raspberry, currants. Heavy pucker. Fruits become heavier as it warms. Solid stuff ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared at the Santa Cruz tasting in January. Everything about this beer screams raspberry, from the color to the aroma to the taste. Impressively vivid on the nose, somewhat more muted in flavor with lactic and acetic sourness creeping in. A pretty nice sour.

Ruby pour with light pink head that sticks around. Raspberry aromas with tart sour raspberry taste finishes off with a dry ref wine taste.
