Bottle, about 10C. Deep red with a pinkish head that fades to a coat after a time. Lots of raspberries, apricot kernels, lemon, moderate funk. Medium bodied, not slippery. Bold fruit (some jammy, some hairy, some tart), cleanish basements, a little leafy at the end. Dryish and quite sour. Really refreshing.

375 ml bottle from the Party Source. Pours a hazy reddish violet color with a medium sized pinkish head. The aroma and flavor have a nice sour raspberry fruit opening, some tart cherry, sour lemon, mild funk, wood, tannins with some acidity. Pretty solid. I have quite a few of these to try.

Frothy pinky-white head with a red body. Nose of raspberry jam with a dry white wine. Tart and sweet, very seedy and acidic. Yummy but not something you’d be able to drink more than one of per night. Not that you’d be able to afford to drink a bottle of this nightly. Purchased at Metro Liquor University Heights.

375 ml bottle from Portale Birra, served in a Teku glass. Deep copper/amber with some dark orange tinges, and an off white, almost pink-ish creamy head. Strong and pungent aroma, fruity, almost milky/lactic, with notes of different types of berries (raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, sour black cherries) and quite a bit of funk, in a dusty/musty/sweaty kind of way. Pretty strong sour and tart component, very dry and slick palate, lots of raspberries as expected in the taste, like a liquid and sweet marmelade. Long lingering fruity finish. Lively carbonation, light to medium body, slightly creamy texture. A bit one dimensional, artificial sweet tasting, but it’s probably just a matter of personale preference. Decent.

Big 16oz pour at Partisan DC. Pours a slightly hazy pinkish amber with some thin, white head. Big berry nose, a little cherry too, tart, some candy, a little grass, some plum, some cranberry. Flavor follows suit, lots of berry, under ripened cherry, raspberry, cough syrup, grassy, a little pithy. Medium bodied, tart finish.

375 ml. Pours colored but clear with little head. Light carbonation. Hints of jam, and ever so slightly dry. A good, but not fantastic beer.

375 ml bottle. Pours a dark jammy red with light white head. Aromas of raspberry jam and wet wood. Flavors of sour raspberry juice and cranberries, with a good malt backing. Odd smell but tasty.
