Beautiful deep reddish pink color with nice lacy head. Smells like fruit rollups, very juicy, rich and tart. Delicious aroma. Reminds me of a halfway point between Raspberry Tart and a Cantillon.

bottle at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell. Delicious! Aroma of farmyard funk mixed with raspberry jam. Complex flavour, sour lambic followed by sudden sweetness from the raspberry. Bit cheeky how expensive it is - substantially more than cantillon guezue, but a spectacular lambic.

Very attractive red slightly amber pour, reddy cream head that dissipates fairly quickly. Big nose, sour, dense raspberries. Massive burst of very sour raspberries on the pallate - delicious flavor, but perhaps not one to drink a pint of.

On tap at Borefts Bierfestival, Bodegraven, 2012. Medium pink color; small head. Better than the 1 year spontandoublecherry.

Stockholm Beer & Whiskey 2012: Fantastisk stor jordgubbsdoft. Trevlig stor syrlighet och en mycket fin eftersmak.

Sample at BBF 12. Pours a pink burgandy with medium white head. Aromas and taste of strong raspberry, sweet and tart notes throughout. Further notes of wood, and acidic yeasts. Well balanced, and perfectly carbonated with a silky smooth palate. Wasnt as good as framboise for the cure, lou pep or amarosa but still a standout raspberry lambic in my book and maybe my favorite sour from Mikkeller at the event.

Sample at Borefts 2012. Reddish pink with a small white head. Aroma is funk, raspberries, sour candy. Nice tartness on the palate, pretty well balanced. Taste is raspberry, sour candy.

Draft @ BBF’12
Cloudy warm pink, light pink head. Aroma and taste is lots of raspberries, some sourness and some sweetness. Well balanced. Nice body and carbonation.

On tap. Pours light red, like a deep rose wine, with a pink, frothy head. Aroma is really mostly about the raspberry, very sweet and fruity, with a hint of champagne underneath all those raspberries. Taste is very sour from the start, again with lots of raspberries (perhaps they’re a bit too dominant, compared to e.g. Framboise de Amorosa). There’s a slight sweetness to balance out the sour taste. Reminds a bit of a rose champagne. Body is light and fresh but still with a presence, with medium carbonation. Nice.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2012 at BBF 12, smells like framboos ( witch is kinda overtime, like always with sours) tastes sour, with a very nice afterglow of good framboos. i’m still not a fan of this style, but this waawed me. best of the festival, couldnt get enough of it ! need these bottles !
