3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap @ SBWF12. Poured red in color with a thin, pink head. Sour raspberry aroma, some woody/earth-like notes later on. Flavor has raspberry, candy, sweet notes, more tart towards finish. Funky. Refreshing, this just works. Medium bodied.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Borefts beer festival, de Molen, day two. Hazy rose pour with a thin white head. Lots of funky brett with raspberry backbone. I prefer the blueberry effort to this one.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft @ Borefts 2012. Darker pink, close to no head. Smells of raspberry jam and some grenadine, some raspberry pits, lightly sour. taste is raspberry pits, some grenadine, touch red berries, sweeter because of the seemingly a bit extract added fruits, lemon sour a bit in the ending, touch lactic sour. Medium bodied, very simple, the extra fruitiness makes this one of the more enjoyable ones. Compared to the real thing, this is nothing really.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
The beer is a pinkish-red color with a light pink head. Strong raspberry aroma along with a hint of red wine vinegar and lactic tartness. A bit of oak, some straw, and grass. The flavor is lightly sweet from the fruit. A very nice raspberry character to go along with a subtle grassy funk and the sourness. A bit of red wine vinegar, some lemon peel, and mild green apple.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from the Folsom Whole Foods. Pours a dark hazy ruddy color with a pink tinged transient head. Aroma of freshly crushed raspberries. Med body or nearly. Flavor is very fresh framboise, with a great deal of tartness. Yet it is not funky. The fruit flavor is very, very intense. It finishes dry and tart with a lot of fruit.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Shared bottle to snifter. Looks good; an opaque raspberry red with thin white lacing. Smells solid; fruity and funky. Tastes like it smells, only not quite as good. Average on the palate. Good overall, but not the best example of the style, and (as are most Mikkellers) overpriced.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
37.5cl bottle at CPK, London. It pours a deep orange / ruby color with a small withish head. Aroma is sour raspberries and that’s mostly it. Fruit is so intense it smells almost artificial. Taste is sweet-sour, acidic and fruit. Once again, raspberries dominate and leave no room for depth of flavours. Slick mouthfeel with high carbonation. Overall, too unidimensional, no depth, no nuances. Probably the worst in the Spontan- series to me.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
13-SEP-2012, bottle @home with Sonni, from Ølbutikken.
Red with almost white head. Nice.
Very clean, very fresh raspberry aroma. Quite intensive.
Taste is more complex with some gunpowder notes.
Tart and fresh. Above average carbonation.
Lovely drink. Girl’ish in a way, but "Hey", that’s ok with me:-)

3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: The smell is faintly acid, some fruit nuances.
Appearance: A clear reddish brew with a pink fizzy head leaving little lacing and small curtains.
Taste: Starting with fructose, the red fruits, probably raspberries, apple vinegar, lemon acid.
Palate: High carbonation, foamy small bubbles, a fresh and dry acid finish.
Overall: A good sour beer, lack some brett vibes though.
Note: On-tap at De Klomp. Reviewed 2012-09-13.
