12 ounce bottle purchased at The Davis Beer Shoppe. The aroma on this is heavily sweet, and fruity with hints of raspberry. There is also a little acetic and lightly lactic funk present, too. Light cheesiness. Very nicely aromatic. The body is a mostly opaque garnet-amber color with a small, light pink head, which is pretty frail. Starts a bit tart, sharp, and acidic, but not overly so. Some raspberries come through in the middle, with more light acidity and sweetness. Finishes with a bit of a wheat-like chewiness present. Nice, fine bubbly carbonation present here. I think this beer came out pretty well, but it just seems to lack the added layers of complexity that the guys in Belgium seem to have. Still a solid beer.

Bottle at home, best before 2022. Bit hazy dark red with fizzy off white head. Hay, some funk, quite earthy, light raspberries and red berries, lots of leaves, wood, cellar dust, moldy shower. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Not bad, the raspberries are more in the background but this is one of the better Mikkeller fruit lambics I’ve tried.

Can (!) from the Brewdog Online Shop. Pours clear dark red with a thick white head. Aromas of raspberry and brett funk, faint oak. Taste is sharp, sour, big raspberry hit, then oak and a touch of sherbet. Quite intense. More canned lambics please! Great stuff.

Can. Pours dark red/purple with a pink head. Aroma of raspberry, a pretty sour nose. Quite thin palate, but not watery. Soft carbonation, sour finish, quite long. Heavy sourness with raspberry flavour, the sourness is quite overwhelming. Lovely aftertaste though. I am in two minds about this.
