oakish, sherry, cider nose, sour taste, with notes of very young Brie, balanced, with enough sweetness/woodiness to balance the sourness, no hints of gooseberries.

Bottle 37,5 @Freiburg Tasting session. A cloudy copper beer, nose is exceptional on tart, vinegar, vanilla, caramel, diacetyl, wet forest. Aroma is nice on tart, yellow fruit, malty, butter. Very tasty and complex beer, even sweet notes, long berries notes, a nice lambic one.

Draught. Yellow, no head. Aroma of barnyard, gooseberry, ripe sour fruits, citrus. In taste medium to high sourness, barnyard and zest, citrus fruits. Not much gooseberry in taste though it is still one od the best Spontans.

Sour fruity nose. More horse-blanket than fruit. The beer starts very tart and sour. Horse-blanket is on the top, but the sour Gooseberry is there as well, but not dominating the picture. Nice tart and complex body, sourish and fresh Gooseberry together with nice sour and wet-woody horse-blanket. Fruity-fresh aftertaste that lasts long, very interesting but refreshing combination on a very sour but complex body. Nice!

Muddy orange color without foam. Fruity and nutty smell. The taste is aggressively sour (as expected from mikkeller spontans) with light fruity notes. The aftertaste is sour and dry.

Bottle at SinH4ís Goodbye Event. Sour berry aroma, some gooseberry, but lots of walnut too, no idea where that comes from. Itís gone in the taste though, where we find an abundance of berry taste. Beautiful!

Orange color with white head. Aroma is funk, walnuts/hazelnuts (where do these come from?), gooseberry skin. Taste is more straightforward gooseberry, good dryness, quite sour. Different from what I had expected, but good!

Bottle. Pours deep golden with an off-white head. Aroma of gooseberries, malt, fruitiness, leather, slight funk and yeast. Flavor is sweet and sour with some gooseberries, lemon, malt and funk. Medium body, average carbonation.

Bottle. A lightly hazy orange-golden beer topped by a small, white head. Funky aroma with some leather and barnyard, some lemon notes and a generic berry touch. Some pale malts. Itís medium bodied, soft and dry, lightly tart, with a funky flavor. Leather, lemon, barnyard and some hay. A touch of caramel too. Lasting finish. Not sure about this one. Nice indeed, but still a tad boring. 150718

Pours hazy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, tartness and gooseberries. Taste is light to medium sweet, light bitter and medium sour with a long dry, sour, gooseberry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
