Citrus and coffee aroma. Pours golden with very little white head. Totally sour taste with coffee. Medium bodied, fizzy and quite abrupt. Weird, but strangely satisfying

375ml bottle (Zmogsala 2015, Vilnius)
Totally weirdo aroma, it’s coffee and lambic, basically. Nice orange, small head. Taste is weirder, but not so acceptable, it’s a mismatch. Gerkhin ice-cream. Bacon-scented shower gel. Coffee lambic. Some combinations just don’t work well.

Bottled. Hazy orange/very pale brown colour with a mediumsized white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is coffee, some sour wood, mild grainy and citrusy notes as well. Flavour is quite similar, with the coffee being quite subtle and settled, not pushing through all too much. OK, but still feeling rather strange.

4/13/2015. From bottle. Light amber with a white head. Funky, cheesy aromas. Hints of coffee, yeast, barnyard. Tart with a light sourness. A bit of coffee on the finish.

375ml from Ann! Hazy orange-tan body. Thin oily head. Awesome wheaty sour aroma, very reminiscent of classic Belgian Lambics like Cantillon, 3 Fonteinen ect...The sour is more pronounced than the coffee, of which I get very faint light vanilla caramel tones, maybe adding some further dryness. I was expecting more of a sour brown coffee beer, but this is more a classic lambic, faint hints of coffee if you really search. Has the authentic dry wheat, maybe hop tones I just don’t see much in US sours. Really enjoyable beer, quite delicious.

Bottle. Brewdog, Leeds. Gold, with a very light haze. Halo of white head. Nice, red wine vinegar sourness to this. Get the coffee, by way of a freshly ground, dark roast character. Some bready sweetness in there, too. Drinks dry, tart, and bready sweet. The coffee gives a little bitterness. Finishes dry, and tart. I’ve been looking at this for ages, thinking it might be a mess. That’s me wrong, then.

Bottle @ THT November. Pours a hazy golden beer with a small white head on top. Aroma of coffee, wild yeasts, Lambic funk. Very cool to acutally smell the coffee trough the lambic influences. Coffee is also present in the flavor, though a bit faded. Tartness is mellowed by the coffee, making this an interesting combination. Fun stuff.
