37,5cl bottle at CPK, London. Pours a hazy golden color with a white head. Coffee aroma is not extremely pronounced. A bit of sweet malt and caramel, but still decently tart, some vinegar and lemon. The coffee is also subdued on the palate. Some citrus notes, tart lemon, a hint of vinegar, green apple, and a light sweetness. Nice and odd.

At Borefts 2012, Bodegraven. Pours lightly hazy gold with a mild, white foam head. Light tangy coffee aroma. Light sweet flavor with bitter coffee, moderate lemon acidity, Dunkin Donuts coffee character. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Modestly sweet finish with coffee that’s a bit more rounded now. Some dirty bitterness in the aftertaste. An odd beer, but not bad.

Bottle - Petroleum jelly that I tend to get from Gueuze, although there are other sour notes there they are overwhelmed by that particular aroma. Clear orange with no head. Although I get the coffee in the bitterness I don’t appreciate this combination of the flavors. Sour coffee just doesn’t do it for me.

Aroma citrica, brett con un poco de café. Sabor citrica, acida, agria con café. Funciona mejor que he esperado.

Bottle shared with friends at my "Massive Mikkeller" tasting. I knew this one probably wasn’t gonna sit well with the folks but I was happy to try it any way. Well the aroma had hints of funky coffee in there but the flavor was just too weird/strange to describe. Try it yourself and you’ll see what I mean.

Saurer Beginn mit trockenen Kaffeenoten. Sie Säure bleibt konstant, wenig hefig. Saurer werdend, nett. 8/9/9/9//9

Tasted from the bottle @Borefts fest 2012. Smells of coffee and grass. Taste is gorgeous with coffee again, but slightly unbalanced, to my personal taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tasted at 4th BBF @ De Molen. Hazy golden pour, aroma is spicy, coffee, citrus and pineapple. Flavor is sour, spicy, coffee in the finish. Interesting, but unbalanced.

Bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark gold with a creamy/foamy white head. Aroma is coffee. Med minus body. Flavor is coffee, but there’s a underlying tart/sour note. Coffee and gueuze. Well, I’d prefer it without the coffee, mayhap, but it works. Always good to try new things.

Bottle sample @ Borefts 2012. The pour’s cloudy amber with a small head. The nose is funky coffee creamer, roasted espresso bean, weird malevolent funkiness. Angry! The taste is tangy berry, more coffee, powdered chocolate and nasty bile. Some acetic vinegar. Medium body. Overall, a very strange beer. Not a success. This should’ve stayed in the recesses of Mikkel’s warped brain!
