3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle @ RBESG Grand Tasting 2012, Bratislava. Pours clear golden with bubbles on top. Yeast, lambic, funk and coffee bean. Odd . . But it works for me. Dry lasting finish. Fresh!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
21/07 RBESG Grand Tasting, 0.375 l bottle. It poured hazy orange body with small head. Coffee and lemon aroma, crazy combination that reminds of the worst headaches, yet nothing unpleasant itself. Bitter citrus hop flavor, mixed up with typical sour lambic notes of toast, peach and quince, while just a bit of coffee makes it very interesting. Medium in body with long, coffee and, to much greater extent, tart lambic finish. A great idea that was well conducted here, although it defies the frames of common sense. I would even like a bit more coffee here.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
What..... the..... hell..... ??? This makes no sense what so ever yet seems to work due to the overpowering aspect of the sourness. What a fucked up idea. Slightly hazy light orangy amber brew with a mid sized bright white bubbly head that lives as a skim and a swirl gives some slippery lacing. Thankfully there is a very sour acidic small loaded with lemon and something sharper and sourerer or this would be pretty vile. Dull, wimpy wet coffee filter and ash tray, oranges, this has gotten much better! On deep sniffs it is not that great nor is it interesting but a gentle sniff produces an array of aromas including a chocolate whiff and some red berry lingerings. The sourness has faded allowing the funky side to be more prominent. OK, the taste... yea, this is the typical sour goodness but the rest is kind of a not needed thing. Itís pretty much... well... I canít quite say ruined because it some how is not.. not even close. Unlike the Koppi ipa they made this actually works as a curiosity that can be consumed relatively easy. The instant overly sour lemon and funk gets punched right in the balls by a steel fist of ashtray flavours only .... wow.. what a complex and wild ride this is. light spice, funk, earth, harshness that finally settles into a large taste bud throttling. Almost has a sour rot to it here and there. Very odd finish with the sour, harsh, tart, papaya who knows blend. MY breath should melt diamonds but is strongly neutral - that is impossible but it has happened. Epicly curious beer that I really really enjoyed after the initial "my rape whistle doesnít work" shock. How the hell did this work?? Bonus marks.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
375ml green bottle. Gold pour topped with creamy white foam. Nose has a decent sour streak with roasted coffee overtop. Just a faint funky note in there. Taste has typical lemony geuze sourness, light tang, coffee in the background, slight chocolate note from the coffee as well. The coffee lingers in the aftertaste, light cocoa, pseudo-earthines, some tang, lemony sourness. Lightish body, medium carbonation. Strange mix of ingredients, but this really works for me.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
375ml bottle pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a finger of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is yeasty with some light fruits and hints of coffee. Taste is lemon sourness with a light fruity sweetness and not much else. Light bodied with abundant carbonation leaving an appealing sensation on the palate. A very nice lambic style ale, but definitely nothing special.

Cloudy gold pour, white head. Aroma is quite odd! Coffee, tart citrus, light yeasty notes. Flavor is sour and coffee...sounds weird but it wasnít that bad.

@Basunen; en mycket udda doft. Tydlig syrlig med en tydlig kaffeton. Smaken är lika så. Trevlig syrlighet med en tydlig eftersmak av kaffesump. Hel kul.

Bottle. Poured hazy golden color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy complex coffee, yeast and sour citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & sweet fruit flavor with a medium to heavy sweet & sour finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
375 ml bottle. Hazy golden amber colour. Small off-white head. Fairly low carbonation level. Distinct lemony sour nose with a bitter coffee note. Chocolatey coffee flavours with some malt and citrus. Very interesting beer. The coffee works really well. Itís a little odd, agreed, but I quite like it. The base beer is as always fantastic.
