Bottle @ bbf. Aroma is funky red fruit, some faint coffee. Flavour is dry fruity sourness with a roasty bitter coffee finish. Works better than expected.

375 ml bottle from West Lakeview Liquors (Chicago, IL). An interesting offering I had to give a shot to. Pours a deeper golden amber hue, a bit of darkness, glowing orange body is darker, moving to more dark golden edges. A decent haziness, cakey loose offwhite head atop stays as a mellow layer, laces small as a mellow layer. Aromas are sour apples and lemons, lactic acid with hay, straw, and gentle yogurt. Growing funk comes on, dust and cobwebs, horseblanket and gentle yet growing coffee roast, earthy and a touch of apple and vinegar, cidery. Some oak, gentle funk, coffee. An odd bag. Initial is lighter end of the fold, perhaps a touch of body preaching some sourness up front, lemons and crab apples, some oka lactic qualities, yogurt and gentle grass, hay. Straw, some horseblanket and dust, cobwebs. Tartness is mellow, yet more up front. Middle shows funk and coffee, the coffee element provides roast and earth, some sweetness, a darker slant with a touch of cocoa, pretzel, and oak. Some tartness, as the backend moves towards earth and roasty coffee, the sourness gets lighter and fades, some dusty and funky elements, with oak, coffee firmly lingers on with funk, touches of crab apple sourness. Certainly an odd beer, an interesting experiment, but not awful. I wouldn’t say it suits my personal tastes, but alas, it’s interesting to see some lambic experiments and the beer itself is good enough, thanks largely to a solid base

375 ml bottle.
Pours a golden colour with a white head. Aroma of cold coffee, earth and some citrusy notes. Flavour of dried apricot, cold coffee again, tart green apples and some mild burnt bready notes. Medium bodied, high carbonation and a tart, citric finish with some coffee notes. Overall a gueuze with very subtle coffee notes, which is a good thing.

dreadnord (1013) - San Diego, California, USA - SEP 16, 2012
Pours hazy golden orange with a small head. Nose funky Brett, citrus, horse blanket, sour fruit. Not smelling any coffee. Flavor is very little sour, mostly bitter and sweet with a slight tartness but bitter comes through most. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean, body is light with a long finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Thanks to adnielsen for sharing at the 2012 Midwest Beer Summit. Slightly tart, coffee aromas and flavors. I don’t think the flavors mesh very well in this beer.
