375ml bottle. Pours a hazy medium gold, with a smallish off-white head, which does not last all that well nor leave much lacing. The aroma is an unusual blend of dusty, leathery sourness and slightly earthy, bitter coffee. It is quite sour up front, with lemon and apple skin notes prominent. This sourness softens into a more woody, leathery flavour leading into the mid-palate, where it is joined by bitter, earthy coffee. The coffee flavour persists into the finish, where it creates an odd mix with sour lemon. The combination of lambic and coffee is a very strange one, but the coffee has been added with restraint, so as not to overpower the lambic flavours. It’s not the best fruit lambic I’ve had, but nor is it the worst.

Bottle. Pours orange, hazy, with a white head. Heavy sour, tart aroma. Tatse starts out sour, before the coffee takes over. Ends with heavy wood notes. Quite schizo.

Tart aroma with wet coffee grounds.
Tart, cherry, roasted coffee beans and oak.

frizzante come uno champagne, bollicine piccole, tante e secche. da bere a sorsi per assaporare l’iniziale gusto di caffè che si ripete ogni volta.

Bottle at Stone Sour Fest 2013. Hazy yellow pour, with a fizzy white head. Tart sourness, acidic lemon, weird combo of brett and coffee, and some sweet malt. Not great.

375mL bottle at Mikkeller Bar, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of coffee beans, tart dry fruit, and barnyard funk. Flavour brings out a great marriage between gueuze and coffee, with notes of barnyard funk, light acidity, and subtle coffee notes. Very bizarre blend, that only Mikkeller would think of doing. Not a disaster, but also nothing that impressive. Glad to have tried the only known coffee lambic in existence. Decent stuff.

Bottle. Pours golden yellow with thin white head. Nose of lemony acidity, dusty basement and soft tangy roasted coffee. Flavors of lemon acidic notes, basement and underlying coffee. Interesting but not great

Why? Odd. Golden coloured and hazy. Has a white head, medium duration. Acidic aroma, sweet, odd fruity too, bad yeasty...or is it the coffee? Heavy acidic flavor, astringt too. Rubarb and old socks.

Hazy golden small white head. Odd, dusty pulterkammer-aroma with smooth coffee and chocolate, basement, light vinegar, hay. Astringent hayish , tart flavor with faint coffee aromas and grapey notes. Earth. Wood. Long lingering, rather bitter finish with berrylike notes. Strange mix, but quite some drinkabillity albeit the coffee.

Very hazy gold beer, decent pale cream coloured head. Light crisp palate, semi dry. Woody mellow sourness, touch of bitterness. Mellow coffee comes through at the end as a subtle aftertaste. Equally subtle white wine vinegar underneath.
