Bottle. Ruby red color. Cherry and marzipan in the aroma. Sourish, earthy flavor with cellar and vinegar notes, hints of cherry and marzipan. Bonedry, fairly low on fruit character. Plastic.

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2012 Bottle shared at CPK. Thanks, Ken. Pours rich red with a light pink head. Tart, sweaty raspberry and cherry nose. Nice and acidic flavor, some dry berries, quite sour with dank cherries. Light to medium bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes very tart with some earthy, bitter fruits, pits and rinds, with definite notes of boozy cherries. Nice beer. (4.0)

At Borefts 2012, Bodegraven. Pours clearish red with a fine, pink foam head. Zippy tart cherry nose, some pit earthiness. Light sweet flavor with moderate tartness, some bitter cherry pits, dirt. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Pretty bitter to finish with more cherries with their pits, light tang. Not bad. (3.6)

Bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a small lingering pink head. Aromas of cherry, barnyard, bread and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of cherry, straw, citrus and barnyard with a crisp dry tart lingering funky cherry finish.

Bottled 375ml. Beautiful hazy peach colored. The aroma is surprisingly weak and neutral. Oxidized hop profile. Mediocre cherry components throughout. Lovely sticky chunky lace. Average carbonation. A tad too sweet for my liking. Slightly unpleasant metallic finish which is reminiscent of cinnamon. Dissapointing. Cracked open some other krieks to compare and this one was definitely not as complex and tasty.

Meget mild og blød. Rigtig meget drikkelig. Korn, halm, kirsebær(sommer) rød med lyserødt skum, sur men dejlig, let, tør, livlig.

Very well-carbonated garnet beer with pink coloured, whipped eggwhite-like head, quite persistent. Brettanomyces, barnyard and sour cherries’ nose; old wet wood. Sour, tart kriekenflavour, with, in opposition to the Spontanframboos, the leathery & lemony background of Brett and lactic fermentation close to lambic-based fruitbeer. Rather light body with acidthinning and -burn; well-carbonated. Everything tastes as it should, and natural. Very good kriek, halfway between Zottegemse and kriekenlambic.

Bottle. Amber red with candy-like pink head. Aroma has loads of standard kitchen-yeast, cherry, sourness and marcipan. Also perfume and some yeasty sweetness. Taste has less yeast and a lot of peel from sour fruits with some limey bitterness. Pepper and cherry dominate. Also some light red wine, oak and sugary sweetness.

Bottle 375ml.

Clear medium to dark red color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, pink head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy cheries, cheery, barnyard, light wood. Flavor is light heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, cherries, berry, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110315]
