Bottled 375ml. Beautiful hazy peach colored. The aroma is surprisingly weak and neutral. Oxidized hop profile. Mediocre cherry components throughout. Lovely sticky chunky lace. Average carbonation. A tad too sweet for my liking. Slightly unpleasant metallic finish which is reminiscent of cinnamon. Dissapointing. Cracked open some other krieks to compare and this one was definitely not as complex and tasty.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very well-carbonated garnet beer with pink coloured, whipped eggwhite-like head, quite persistent. Brettanomyces, barnyard and sour cherries’ nose; old wet wood. Sour, tart kriekenflavour, with, in opposition to the Spontanframboos, the leathery & lemony background of Brett and lactic fermentation close to lambic-based fruitbeer. Rather light body with acidthinning and -burn; well-carbonated. Everything tastes as it should, and natural. Very good kriek, halfway between Zottegemse and kriekenlambic.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Amber red with candy-like pink head. Aroma has loads of standard kitchen-yeast, cherry, sourness and marcipan. Also perfume and some yeasty sweetness. Taste has less yeast and a lot of peel from sour fruits with some limey bitterness. Pepper and cherry dominate. Also some light red wine, oak and sugary sweetness.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
[500ml bottle at BrewDog Bar, Edinburgh] Pours a lovely vibrant clear red with a slightly off white pinkish head that reduces very quickly to nothing. Quite heavily carbonated. Big sour cherry aromas with a similar tart cherry palate. Bitter, but not punishingly so, really quite refreshing. Lingering dry cherry aftertaste
