Bottle in Craft Brixton. Colour is pinky red with white foam head. Nose is sugary cherry, minerally, sour wild yeast. Taste is quite clean, minerally, not much cherry fruit. Sour but not much sweetness or sugar. Bit of a harder vulcanic rock mineraliness for me.

Hazy reddish with a small head. Refreshing with cherries, wood, lemon, red berries and some notes of horse blanket. Nice sourness for sure. Dry finish. A pleasant thirst quencher.

Bottle. Poured hazy reddish copper color with an average fizzy white head that lasted with good lacing. Good tart sour cherry & yeast aroma. Medium to full body with tingly texture and lively carbonation. Moderate to heavy tart&sweet fruit flavor with a solid sweet fruit finish of moderate duration. Very good beer.

12.7 ounce bottle. Served in a tulip, the beer pours a ruby red/purple color with about an inch pink head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The bottle was a bit of a gusher when I opened it. Aroma is sweet and tart cherries, oak, funk, and a bit of vinegar. Taste is pretty much like the aroma, but there’s also a bitter earthy flavor noticeable. Not too sour tasting, the bitter earthy flavor seemed to overpower the other flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit slick and has moderate carbonation. It’s not a bad beer and it’s worth trying once, but I wouldn’t spend $12.99 a bottle for this again.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 emacgee (3431) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - OCT 11, 2012
Pours a soft and cloudy ruby pink with one finger of wispy light pink head. Nose is tart and acidic with an upfront geueze-y character. Sharp acidity and cherry notes come through with some lemon rind and hay. Lots of funk for sure. Sharp flavor and upfront acidity with a light astringency. Not much of the kriek carries through in flavor. Very dry and light, super sharp and acidic.

Bottle from the Folsom Whole Foods. Tried to gush! Pours a beautiful cherry red with a creamy pinkish head. Essentially sour cherry aroma. Med plus body. Flavor is sour, earthy, cherry. It’s very nicely done. Finishes tart and sour.

375ml bottle.
Pours a cloudy red/orange, with a thin head.
Fruity, spicy aroma, quite developed/aged, dried fruit, wood, dill, cherries, dried apricots.
Dry, medium bodied, low bitterness, balanced CO2.
Spicy, acidic taste, cherries, dried fruit, funk. The bottle was not old, but the beer feels a bit past its prime? (2012-10-08)

Bottle sample @ Borefts 2012. The pour’s deep red with a medium pink head. The nose is sweet dehydrated cherry, some sugar and mild funky yeast. The taste is meaty cherry pit, soft vinegar and chalk. Lip-puckering but smooth. Overall, this is actually a fairly nice kriek. Respec’
