Bottle courtesy of Jesse. Thanks! Clear dark red with a fizzy white head. Sweet cherry, candy sugar, and alcohol aroma. Very bright lively palate. Tangy sour tastes of cherry and lemon with some candy sugar sweetness and a dry fruity finish.

Bottle @ Dan’s place, Denver. Pours hazy reddish brown with a small offwhite head. Aroma of funk, oak, pepper, light sweet cherries. Taste is sour with sweet and tart cherries, funk, aok, pepper. Thin body, soft carbonation, dry finish. 220212

Bottle @ Dan’s house, courtesy of camons. Thanks René! A touch violet, red appearance with an off white head. Effervescent, mild cherry, dark berry, somewhat tangy, light funky aroma. A touch young berry, mild cherry, tangy lemon, tart, barnyard, dry, a touch earthy flavor. My least favorite of the bunch.

Pour out of glass is reddish pink with white head, thanks Renee! Aroma brings notes of cherry pie, sweet fruit and biscuit notes, hints of lemon, slight funk, slight oak and caramel. Taste is a mix of cherry and lemon going quickly into bitter grass and earth, touch of funky earth, finishing very dry and pretty bitter.

Beautiful reddish color with no foaming. The smell is cherry-like and very sour. Starts dominantly sour, with pleasant aromas of sour cherries. The finish is long drawn Geuze-like sour, a little cherry flavor is noticeable.

Second actual lambic I’ve had after the Spontanframboos, and I enjoyed that one a bit more. Sample pours a lightly cloudy, light amber-reddish. The aroma was nice, though. Tart, sour, good cherry notes, slightly funky but not overly sour. Definitely enjoyable for having just started on lambics.

This beer reminds me why I love fruit beer. Mikkeller can nail any style, always impressed. Had this one on new years day courtesy of of SleepyLopes. Great label. Cherry nose. Tart cherry flavor, balanced bubbly carbonation, short finish.

At ACBF 2011. Clear red. thin white head. It’s got some cherry, it’s got some dryness. Very drinkable, but not got that wow factor.

Deep pink-red with candy sugar, cobwebs and cherry stones on the nose. Initially sweet with restrained sourness and medium length finish.

Bottle from Brewdog online shop. Murky red colour, shiny pinkish head. Nose is cherry, sour, fruity, a bit perfumy, dusty. Flavour is sour fruits, cherry. Highly carbonated. A bit thinnish. Fairly dry finish.
