Bottle shared at a Sour/Wild tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. 2013 bottle. Slightly hazy golden with a small white head. Mild aroma with some peaches and funk. Refreshing sour flavor with peaches, funk, oak, a metallic yeasty note and a slightly bitterish finish. Medium-bodied. Nice and refreshing.

Draft. Golden pour with white head. Peach and light tart fruit and wild tones. Nice tart peach, finishes very wild. One of the better spontan series.

375 ml bottle. Pours a dark orange golden colour with a white head. Aroma of peach, cough medicin and herbs. Flavour of rich tart peach, cough medicin, some grains, some astrigent and leather. Medium bodied and lively carbonation. Dry peachy finish with loads of tartness. Good.

24/V/14 - 37.5cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ Procrastinated Spontan Gent Tasting - BB: 28/V/23 (2014-545)

Clear deep orange beer, irregular white aery head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: bit lemony, fruity, some exotic fruits, some chlorine. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, lemony, pretty bitter, fruity, could be peach, not very convincing though, bit peppery. Aftertaste: very puckering sourness, bitter, peach skin, fruity, dry and bitter, peach becomes more clear.

Shared with Zach, late Thursday evening, pours a hazy golden orange with no appreciable head. Nose is bitter and tart, and fruity with the peach well appreciated. Taste is sour and tart, fruity with hardly any to no sweetness. Finishes on sour and tart notes with a nice mouth pucker. Nice but certainly not for every palate. Quaff Score. 8 / 10

Pours a hazy golden orange with a dissipating head and sweet, tart, peach aroma. Taste is delicious, the peach comes through nicely but is not overwhelming with tart fruit notes, funk and a light sour, dry finish. Delicious beer in the series, very tasty and drinkable

Pours a hazy golden orange color with a finger of white head that leaves some decent lacing. Aroma is yeasty with peaches. Taste is a peach and malty sweetness with a light spicy hop bitterness and a dry yeasty finish. Medium bodied with generous carbonation. A nicely done brew that I recommend to others.

Pours hazy amber with no head. aroma of classic rural Brett notes, stable, a bit of balsamic, a bit Flemish, vinegar, a bit fruity but I don't really get any peach. Taste has those same rural wild Brett, stable, I get some peach here, vinegar, bacteria and a little bit Flemish.
