Draft. Dark gold beer with small white head. Really mild aroma which is a bit sour and a bit sweet, like candied peaches. Flavour is mainly sour with a sweet finish, slight tarty peach aftertaste with some notes of the stone. Probably the least good one from Mikkeller Spontan-series.

On tap at Mikkeller & Friends. Pale golden with a off-white head. Light sourness, with motes of lemons, oranges and peaches.

On tap at DeCicco’s in Brewster. Pours a clear golden amber with a thin white head. A hint of peach skins, but I’m really searching. Soft funk and wood on the nose. Medium bodied, big acid and wood, soft peach. Big acid, funk, wood, bugs, soft fruit. Tasty.

Taster @ Taphouse, Copenhagen 13/5-16. Fruity, bretty and woody, also acidic with a touch of peach. The finish is dry, fruity, bretty, woody and acdic.

Tap @ Mikkeller Aarhus. Aroma of light tart and tiny notes of peach. Clear amber with white head, not lasting. Taste is moderate sour, light bitter. Light body, dry feel, lively carb., sour dry finish.

Unclear hazy golden amber colour, nice peach notes in the notes with the usual spontan funkness. Very tart on the palate, citric sour notes along with the peaches. Very nice and will do well with time

Tap (TCBW2016)
Does have the classic sour-oriented lambic aroma, but a bit muted and dull. Taste is almost watery and dull. Doesn’t have the feel of brett ageing. There might be some offness though. Feels like a fake modern sour, not a proper lambic, one of the few Spontans to really not hit the mark.

37,5cl kindly shared by impuritylaw at Bier ohne Stil: Weird Beer Tasting. Comes pretty close in distilling the essence of peach through beery means, FouFoune style - then hangs its lambic ambition halfmast, hurdling over the finish line on a lacto-yoghurt frame. Very pleasant and easy drinking, lacking some wild oomph, impressively and above all cleanly Proef-engineered for a wild/sour. Peach stone bitters, sparkling with fruit freshness like a natural lemonade, watery pockets in between the lemons showing this could have used more time for denser flavour, especially for the ABV. Still more pleasant and delicate than most US new wave sours.

From tap at Taphouse. Hazy dark golden colour with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of peach, tartness, acidic and spice.
