Pours a hazy peachy golden color with a finger of gaseous foam that settles out quickly. Some creamy peach on the nose with underlying horsehair, wet oak and straw. Palate is tart, with an almost yogurt lacto fuzz happening. Peach flesh rounds our the acid levels and soften the edges allowing notes of vanilla, cream of wheat cereal and a lingering horseblaket.

Tap at Mikkeller Tokyo. Aroma is peach and light funk. Taste is sour, light peach, more sourness. Doesn’t work as well as some of the others. Nice enough, but not sure really.

Aroma is peaches, proprietary yeast and mild sweetness. The flavor is proprietary yeast, peaches, berries and a funky/sour finish.

A steady pour into my large Tripel Karmeliet tulip produces a two finger thick, pale tan colored head. The beer is a light amber color that shows a bright, mostly clear, yellow-gold / pale amber hue when held up to the light. The aroma smells tart, with a floral fruit nectar note that definitely leans towards peaches and perhaps even a touch of apricot like notes. Peach isn’t a really distinct fruit, but this beer is definitely distinctly fruity.

The beer is not quite as tart as I was expecting from the nose, but it is definitely tart. Floral peach flavors, definitely ripe, without sweetness, and with a finish that is a mix of tart and lightly astringent. There is a slightly nutty, roundedly spicy, lightly woody oak character that flavors this beer from the beginning through to the end of each sip. The oak and fruit character certainly make this lean towards the vinous side of the spectrum, but there is a soft, slightly hay like, and perhaps a hint of cracker like pale malt character. The body is nice and light, with just a touch of viscous character. As the beer warms up the oak character becomes a bit more present, but still serves as a ballancing character to the light tartness and fruit character.

Not bad for a fruited sour beer, though if judged as a Lambic it certainly falls quite short. Enjoyable, and I like that the peach character is not overpowering.

from BrewDog’s online shop - hazy reddish-orange beer with a poor head retention; fairly sourish peachy aroma, light cheesy; full-bodied, sour and witrh a light sweetness; quite dry and long aftertaste of peach and horseblanket

Bottle. Very hazy medium orange, lively off white head, some sediment. Modestly sour, with a nice musty yeasty funk, and sweet soft peach fruit. Quaffable.

4/29/15. On tap at The Craft Bar. Hazy orange pour with a very small khaki head, mild lacing. Quite acidic aroma, sour, mild peach, funk. Very sour flavor, mild peach, funky, nice vanilla and oak. Very tasty which is great because I don’t really like peach.
