Pour is amber with nice fluffy white head, big thanks to Renee! Aroma has notes of nice funk with basement, old dust, horseblanket, real nice funkiness with a dry oak note as well. Taste is a nice mix of bitter and slightly tart fruit, hints of berry, lemon notes going into a slight lactic acid, nice funk in the middle but a nice big lactic sourness, lemony tartness finishing fairly bitter and dry.

Bottle @ Dan’s house, courtesy of camons. Thanks René! A touch pinkish orange appearance with an off white head. Amazing, dark berry, currant, oak, mild to moderate funky sour aroma. Very tart, funky, dark raspberry, currant, light cranberry, puckering funky flavor. Excellent!

375 ml bottle @ Patricks. Almost clear, reddish orange body with a minimal white head. Aroma of acidic, fresh berries and some funkiness. Flavor is acidic, fruity, berries and a quite pleasant Brett/funk. Medium body, quite balanced fruity and very pleasant. Still not super complex.

Bottle at borefts 2011. Spontanredcurrant. Clear orange colour. some redcurrant fruit rather dominates the lambic. Quite sour. Rather tasty. But the lambic is a bit too overwhelmed by the fruit. earthy aroma. 3.6

Bottle… This beer rocks!… Hazy amber ale with a small, wispy, white head. Excellent retention. The bouquet offers funky cheese, earthy currants and fruity black cherries. Full-bodied and creamy with airy carbonation. The flavor is sour and funky; super acidic and fruity. Finishes tart and fairly dry. Absolutely delicious! This world class beer was provided by Plovmand!

Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a cloudy reddish amber with a lacing off-white head. Heavy barnyard, heavy farty Brett aroma. Medium body, very tart fruitiness - the redcurant really comes through. Lots of barnyard here, very dry and tart. Delicious. 230112

Bottle. Half finger foam. Clear Cooper. Faint fruity aromas. Gentle taste of red fruits. Need a little more complexity.

My Bottom Line :
Well-defined currants move into an acidic and acetic splash for a pleasant, fruity Fruit P-Lambic.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A veil of foam covers the clear light amber.
-This doesn’t have as much barnyard presence as the base Spontanale.
-Carbonation has smaller, pricklier bubbles than the Spontanale.
-The second half of each sip is particularly fruity.
-This is still a nice introduction to the funky flavors of lambics, if one doesn’t want to get to them too quickly. It’s a refreshing summer drink too, if you can tolerate the acidic finish.
