Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a cloudy reddish amber with a lacing off-white head. Heavy barnyard, heavy farty Brett aroma. Medium body, very tart fruitiness - the redcurant really comes through. Lots of barnyard here, very dry and tart. Delicious. 230112

Bottle. Half finger foam. Clear Cooper. Faint fruity aromas. Gentle taste of red fruits. Need a little more complexity.

My Bottom Line :
Well-defined currants move into an acidic and acetic splash for a pleasant, fruity Fruit P-Lambic.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A veil of foam covers the clear light amber.
-This doesn’t have as much barnyard presence as the base Spontanale.
-Carbonation has smaller, pricklier bubbles than the Spontanale.
-The second half of each sip is particularly fruity.
-This is still a nice introduction to the funky flavors of lambics, if one doesn’t want to get to them too quickly. It’s a refreshing summer drink too, if you can tolerate the acidic finish.

375 ml bottle. Almost clear, red liquid with small to medium light pink head. Aroma of lemons, apples, funk (barnyard etc), redcurrants and sourness. Taste is dry, medium to high sour and not bitter at all. Lots of redcurrant flavour. Medium bodied with good carbonation and really dry mouthfeel. Really nice acutally. Lots of funk and sourness.

Sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2011. Pours a clear and reddish copper beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, tart and fruit. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is dry and acidic. Overall a good beer.
