375 ml. bottle procured from De Hopduvel in Gent & split with Kraddel + Kogymo. BBF 09/05/2021. Pours a hazy fox bordeaux amber with a shade of purple, colour is pretty hard to note in this one with almost instantly gone head. Head is/was pinkish/purple. Nose carries some pretty nice lambic & barn funk, lots of acidic lemon, tart lemons with some red grapes that could be identified as redcurrant but seems very unspecific with lots of musty red grape skins. Taste is tart lemon, lower funk than in the nose but still there, getting lots & lots of red grape skins, way more than red berries (could be redcurrant, could not be, pretty general), plenty of red wine, old red wine barrels, light glühwein spices in the back, nicely musty with plenty of lemon acidity in the back. Lively carb. which works well. Pretty solid stuff, could use a touch more complexity considering the style but pretty enjoyable still.

Bottle shared at Håndverkerstuene, august 13th 2013. Dark orange body, disappearing white headd. Oaky sour aroma with berries and grapes, funky yeasty taste of redcurrant, strawberries, lemon, cherries and barnyard. A nice refreshing dry finish, sourness sticking in the mouth a while. A very nice druit lambic

From a 375ml bottle @ the Taps in KL. Pours a dark hazy rad with a off beige head. Aroma of dry fruits and yeast. Flavors of dry fruits, grass, yeast, hints of wood. Nice sourness, not sweet, light creaminess, and dry. Very enjoyable and similar with some true lambics.

Bottle split at JF’s, from BOE, 21/07/13. Hazed deep orange amber with a thin off white head. Nose is red grapes, burnt straw, tarte berry fruit compote. Taste comprises burnt cherries, tartened red berry fruits, grape skin, damp wood, earthy, sour fruit dipped straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tarte crisp fruity finish. Decent refreshing stuff in the heatwave!

375mL bottle at Mikkeller Bar, pours a clear orange amber with a small beige head. Aroma of dry fruity red currants, some stone fruits and some and some light acidity. Flavour is very acidic, with notes of red currant, stone fruits, and medium acidity. Quite complex and on the more acidic side for the Spontan series. Very berry-heavy, with a fruity acidic finish. Good stuff.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Beautiful looking beer. Pours a very vibrant, clear dark orange sort of tangerine colour with a small, firm white head which lasts and leaves some thick spider legs. Nose is predominately very tarty and dry fruits - cranberry, currants, goji berries. Light horse blanket with some sweet lemon zest just behind it all. Taste is a lot tartier than expected. Almost like a very tarty cranberry juice with a sweet lingering finish. Quite refreshing. My missus actually liked this beer. Must be good then!
