UPDATED: NOV 19, 2011 Sampled @ SBWF on September 29. Pours pinkish with a fluffy white head. Smell is sour and fresh. Lots of fresh fruits and a slight smell of chlorine. Taste is sour and has a nice tart character. It’s quite dry. The red currants are clearly present but they don’t start dominating the taste until some time has passed which results in a very nice aftertaste.

Bottled. A red beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma has notes of vinegar, brettanomyces, red currant, and wood. The flavor is acidic with notes of brettanomyces, wood, vinegar, red currant, and a bit of malt, leading to a very tart and mouthpuckering finish.

Pours clear orangey red with a medium, frothy, off-white head. Medium duration, lovely lacing. Aroma has fresh berry peel, red currants abound, some raspberry notes. Light dry tartness. Highish carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour is wonderfully tart at first, light puckering. Clear red currant, light marzipan, a slight metallic note, mild cherry. Good oaky dryness to the finish. Nice beer.

Good, collapsing pinkish head over pale terracotta coloured beer. Very sour, lactic acid nose, Brett, fruit, barnyardodours. Very lambiclike, in fact. Sharp fruit(acid), lactic flavours, whilst barnyard/Brett figure in the background. Touch of horseradish. Red fruit, but not immediately identifyable as redcurrant. Sharp MF, acidburn, light-appearing body. Aftertaste has indeed some (creamy) berries. Very good fruitlambic - from Hijfte and København...
