Dark golden, faint red hues. I would call this more blueberry than strawberry nose. Tart lemon acidity. Mildew and basement funk. Taste is very sharp. Bright acidity. Bold sour and more mildew. Is really stripping the enamel with its chalkiness. Caramel candy finish. Touch of diactyl.

Aroma is fruit and perfumed sourness/sweetness. The flavor is fruit/barrel aging, earthy notes and a mildly sweet/very sour finish.

Bottle 5 at gad905 tasting night; cloudy straw yellow pour with creamy white head, floral aroma, taste is floral, citrus along with sourness and has some funk and cheesy action.

Keg @ The Kings Arms. Slightly hazy deep gold with a tiny head. Funky, briny driftwood, loads unwashed herbs. Soft barnyard. Mellow citrus. Hints of tropical fruits, passionfruit and mango. Semi-tart crisp lemon sherbet finish. Nicely clean, defined flavors. Zippy body, fine carbonation. Very pleasant.

pours hazy pale golden with a small yet reviving white cap, some lacing patterns too. leathery bretts, low to no funk, fruity and floral, very cheesy, peppery, slightly vinous. average to moderate carbonation, light body - oily, herbal-grassy and citric finish. linear - and as if lambic presence had vanished. but still enjoyable.

Bottle. Unclear yellow towards orange with a small white head. Rosehip jam in the nose. The rosehips are more discreet in the aroma, light wooden, cheese, astringency. Taste is medium sweet and sour. Light rosehips comes through towards the finish. Medium body, watery/oily texture, light/medium carbonation.

Bottle (375 ml). Unclear golden/orange with no head and no lacing. Aroma is of wood, acidic notes, floral presence, light fruity notes and some barnyard. Taste is of oak, floral notes, acidic presence, lights fruits and leathery notes. Medium body. Low carbonation. Dry finish. Not bad at all, but still my least favorite from the Spontan series up to now. Not really complex and the rosehip doesn’t add much to the beer.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Cloudy orange with an off-white head. Sourish aroma, lemony, oaky, somewhat funky, with some spiciness, some fruitiness and a light leather hint. Dry sour flavor, lemony, with some spicy notes, oak, a hint of vinegar and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Decent.
