A little non-hop bitter finishing lambic, from one of my all-time favorite brewers should be a big win. Letís see... Smells of a pretty standard lambic with some pear/green apple notes and it has a slightly bitter bite at the end in an almost spicy way kind of. A very interesting beer -arenít all lambics? Tart like a lambic normally is. Delicious.

Bottle 375ml.

[ As Mikkeller SpontanSeabuckthorn ].
Unclear - hazy medium orange color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy bucktorn, tart berry, berry, barnyard, leather, tart, yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and acidic with a long long duration, bucktorn, tart, dry, funky. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20140121]

Bottle. Unclear orange with a small white head. Sour red berries, red grapefruit, oranges, wood, light moldy. I couldít pick out seabuckthorn without knowing it was in there, but I guess it adds to citrusy flavours and sourness. And this is pretty sour. Also has some fruity sweetness to it which keeps it from getting too much. The seabuckthorn seems to be a good match for a sour. And this is pretty sour.

nice crisp aroma, fresh and sharp. howwever once it hits the mouth itís clear that itís quite an aggressive brew. harsh crazy sharp palate but thatís sea buckthorn. Doesnít do it like OPPís. Too rough.

Bottle at Beer Hunters. Murky orange color, small off-white head. At first outdoor toilet aroma then fruity tart smell. Medium-bodied. Seabuckthorn tartness and fruityness in the flavor. Some "landsbier" notes. Not my favourite.

Bottle at home with friends, courtesy of Aaron. Thanks man! Pour is hazy orange with a small white head and great lacing. Cheesy, waxy, musty, onion, almost garlic, rotten fruit, and woody aroma. Taste is tart lemon, biscuity, green apples, pears, vegetal, woody, earthy, and cheesy with a dry funky finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Really weird beer.

Pour out of 375 mL bottle, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of nice tart fruit, hints of starfruit, berry, hints of lemon, slight earth, hint of grain. Taste is a mix of lemon, white fruit, tropical fruit, slightly funky notes, hints of weird funk fruity notes, finishing fairly tart, slightly dry, hints of grain.
