Had this at Max's Yap room in Baltimore. Pours a hazy golden. Very light and crisp. Very refreshing. Grapefruit and citrus. Mild funkiness but overall great beer.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours dirty orange with a transient white head. Aroma is sour funky fruit. Med body. Flavor is sour funky unfamiliar fruit. Really surprised my mouth. Big impact. Goes very well with stinky cheese.

Bottle from Beer Revolution. Pours cloudy golden with a disappearing white head and a funky fruit aroma. There is a salty sour weird fruit flavor. Wow, what is this?

Hazy gold beer with a small white head. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Medium gueuzey sourness. A touch of fresh orange. Bitter grapefruit and light lemon. Bitter seltzer. Finishes semi dry and crisp. Tasty, if a little sharp.

On tap. Hazy dark orange with a creamy off white head. Nice strong floral sour apple and sour grape aroma with lemon notes. Very bright and lively palate. Tastes of rose, lemon, caramel, green apple, and grape with subtle oaky notes. Excellent.

tap offering @ churchkey. Hippophae, the sea-buckthorns, are shrubs. they are also referred to as sandthorn, sallowthorn, or seaberry. More than 90 percent or about 1,500,000 hectares (5,800 sq mi) of the world’s sea buckthorn plantations can be found in China where the plant is exploited for soil and water conservation purposes. Sea-buckthorn berries are edible and nutritious, though astringent and oily, unpleasant to eat raw, unless ’bletted’ (frosted to reduce the astringency) and/or mixed as a drink with sweeter substances such as apple or grape juice. So there you have it. peculiar somewhat bittersweet small berry note offered. some passionfruit character offered as well. tasty. dry beer. easy drinkin.

4oz pour at Churchkey. Pours a hazy orange with some cloudy white head. Nose is nice, sweet, tart, citrus pith, mild funk, a little band aid, orange, something briny, salty. Flavor is well balanced, tart but not overpowering, enough faro like sweetness to tamp it down, salty, pithy, grapefruit, vitamin c. Full, tart, salty finish. Nice.

Scopey (7434) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 3, 2013
Bottle via BrewDog online. It pours cloudy orange-amber with a medium white head. The nose is earth, damp wood, lactic, apricot, persimmon, peach, sherbet, toasty hay, floral and malt vinegar. The taste is sharp tartness, persimmon & kaki fruit, lemon, sherbet, minerals, moderate acidity and dank wood with a dry, rather tart finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Pretty intense and perhaps not recommended for those new to sours! Rather nice.
