4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
375 bottle in Brazil. Pour produces an intense golden orange beer that is very cloudy. The head is very thick and lasts the duration of the beer. The fruit gives a very rustic/dirty aroma that continues on into the taste. A medium aggressive sourness is met with a earthy yet zesty taste. Very interesting and I enjoyed this one a lot.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Citrique intense, lactique brutal, pigmentation herbacée forte et finition légèrement métallique et abrasive. Le liquide est magnifique comme son arôme mais sinon c’est trop pénible à déguster pour être mémorable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle courtesy of Jay. Pours a hazy body with white lacing. Aroma is funky, oak, cheese and light mineral character. Mouthfeel is medium with a strong effervescent feel to it and a dominant metal, penny character overshadowing the fruit and funk.

Bottle@ahven. Orange hazy. Sour berries, sort of unripe, hayish funk. Light med, bodied, light tart. Sharp citrus zesty, hay malty. Pretty nice, tart berries in a tart drink. Fits quite well.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared at a Sour/Wild tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Cloudy pinkish orange. Pleasant funky aroma, very fruity, a bit sweaty. Delicious sour fruity flavor with lots of funk, some oak and a nice lemony character. Rounded mouthfeel. Great.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle @ Chmielarnia, Warsaw. Hazy orange colour, almost no head. I have no idea how seabuckthorn taste, but there are some strange fruits in smell, so mybe that’s it. There are also some funky belgian, buiscuit and typical sour notes. Oh my god! How sour is that! It’s perfect, I love it! It’s sour, it’s salty, it’s fruity, there are some sour citrus fruits. Very nice, probably best lambic i have ever tasted.

2.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle bought from the Mikkeller webshop. Pours very cloudy orange with a rather small frothy offwhite head that leaves some lacing and trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sour, fruity and funky with sourdough crackers, seabuckthorn, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, moist hay, barnyard, leather, horse blanket and hints of white wine vinegar. Taste is heavy sour, slightly salty, fruity, vegetal and funky with sourdough crackers, heavy seabuckthorn, celery, vegetable soup broth, leather, silage, barnyard, lemon juice and horse blanket. Mouthfeel is dry, tart, slightly mouth-puckering and medium bodied. Finish is sour, slightly salty, fruity, tiny vegetal and funky with sourdough crackers, seabuckthorns, celery, moist hay, lemon zest, leather, barnyard and horse blanket. Smells great but the taste holds tons of unexplainable (most likely the boatloads of seabuckthorns goes overboard) celery that makes this pretty revolting I’m afraid.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled@Black Door, Helsinki. Hazy orangeish amber colour, with a small white head. Aroma is sour wood, some slight berries and a bit sweetness to it as well. Flavour is sour and tart wood along with some sweetness as well as some mild sea buckthorn elements, though from a quite ripe side of them (giving an almost infectionous sea buckthorn element to this). Jessica Heidrich’s St. Eriks and Cantillon are so far the ones who have managed to make something really good with this berry.
