SF5, via me! Medium gold, nice head. Aroma is strawberry, barn funk. Flavor is all barnyard, slight fruit. Some unfortunate vinyl on the finish. Strawberries don’t behave well. Great until the vinyl.

Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat..Poured a gold with pink tinges Nose of funk and strawberry. Medium body. Flavor shows a liittle mallty but mostly the funk and stawberry. Finish is the same. As sour beer goes this is not my favorite but was drinkable. But that is it.

Bottle from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. The beer is kind of honey gold and is cloudy. A big off white head. There is a lot of plasticy funk in the aroma. Strawberry and malts under that. Honestly, I am not sure why they bothered with the berry. This is a funk bomb. Not being a fan of sours I find this tolerable. Funk heads will love it. My glass is empty and I am kind of happy to see that.

From notes. Tasted in December 2012 from a capped 375mL bottle purchased at Louisville Beer Store during Zwanze Day 2012. Pours hazy pink orange with a thick and rocky off-white head that leaves thick lace and sticky residue along the inside of the glass. The nose is tart and sour with a nice white bread malt aroma and plenty of natural wild strawberry. The flavor is tart, sour, and bitter with the strawberry and light malt underlying. The body is medium and tannic with average carbonation and a long tart, lightly bitter strawberry finish.

Courtesy Secret Santa. Infected bottle. Aroma was horse manure and barnyard. Pour was a nice enough cloudy medium gold with no head. Taste was strong band aid with not much else flavor. Top of the mouth is left tingling and numb with band aid flavor. When I used to homebrew I knew what that off flavor was called but I forget now. Tried 5 sips just to see if it was me but they all tasted the same. Good concept anyway!

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2015 Bottle. Pours hazy orange with rapidly settling white head. Minimal lace. Aroma is huge dried strawberry, strawberry skin. Flavor is similar, huge dried, tart strawberry, and strawberry skin. Buttery, oaky, mildly vinous finish. Mod carbonation, light body and dry texture.

26.11.2014, 0,375l bottle sampled @ BBGTC tasting:
Small slightly fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is kind of strange sweet sour-ish, overripe mountain berries, sweet overripe strawberries, oak, butterscotch, sorrel, berry skin, grass. Taste is slightly sour-ish harsh, overripe mountain berries, oak, berry skin, unripe strawberries, grass, medicine, heather. Medium bitterness, slightly medical mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle, shared with BBGTC. Pours a deep orange body with a small white head. Nose is old strawberry jam, straw, bretty stable notes and hints of lemon tartness. Taste is brett stable notes, hay, lemon juice, strawberries and hints of sawdust and red fruits. Light body, medium to high carbonation. Pleasant enough, particularly the aroma, but no great sour experience for me.
