Bottle from WLV Liquors. Pours a clear, light golden color. Nose is horsey, some funk & flint, and some grapey oak. Taste is very vinous with dry white grapes dominating. The wild strawberries are hard to find since the beer is so dry and overpowered by the wine barrel, but it’s not bad. A little more sweetness and balance would be better.

From notes. Tasted in December 2012 from a capped 375mL bottle purchased at Louisville Beer Store during Zwanze Day 2012. Pours hazy pink orange with a thick and rocky off-white head that leaves thick lace and sticky residue along the inside of the glass. The nose is tart and sour with a nice white bread malt aroma and plenty of natural wild strawberry. The flavor is tart, sour, and bitter with the strawberry and light malt underlying. The body is medium and tannic with average carbonation and a long tart, lightly bitter strawberry finish.

January 13, 2015. Bottle at NK Bar.
Light hazy reddish orange with a small white head. Aroma is a bit funky, earthy, herbs, hay and light strawberries. Taste is light sweet, light to medium tart fruity with light berry notes, citrus, minerals, green grapes. Dry light bodied, average carbonation.

Courtesy Secret Santa. Infected bottle. Aroma was horse manure and barnyard. Pour was a nice enough cloudy medium gold with no head. Taste was strong band aid with not much else flavor. Top of the mouth is left tingling and numb with band aid flavor. When I used to homebrew I knew what that off flavor was called but I forget now. Tried 5 sips just to see if it was me but they all tasted the same. Good concept anyway!

26.11.2014, 0,375l bottle sampled @ BBGTC tasting:
Small slightly fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is kind of strange sweet sour-ish, overripe mountain berries, sweet overripe strawberries, oak, butterscotch, sorrel, berry skin, grass. Taste is slightly sour-ish harsh, overripe mountain berries, oak, berry skin, unripe strawberries, grass, medicine, heather. Medium bitterness, slightly medical mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle, shared with BBGTC. Pours a deep orange body with a small white head. Nose is old strawberry jam, straw, bretty stable notes and hints of lemon tartness. Taste is brett stable notes, hay, lemon juice, strawberries and hints of sawdust and red fruits. Light body, medium to high carbonation. Pleasant enough, particularly the aroma, but no great sour experience for me.

Shared bottle with BBGTC. Pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is a struggle between sweet and sour. Sweet berry notes against the bretty sourness. Taste is quite sour. No struggle here. Some berry notes, dried hay and stables. Dry finish. Light body with medium+ levels of co2.

Warm golden colour, white head. Quite wild aroma, cookie dough, overripe fruit, fruit yoghurt. Strawberry flavour, fermenting strawberry, light astringent. Finish strawberry, overripe fruits. Was very curious to this one (I love wild strawberries), but seems like they might not work too brilliantly with yeast.

Orange, thin lasting white head, good lace. Aroma of barnyard, leather, markers, fruity sweetness. Flavour is quite acidic and tart, some fruit sweetness. Dry mouthfeel, light body, high carbonation. Finishes long, acidic. Pretty nice, so tart. Very enjoyable.
