Commercial Description:
Earlier batches brewed by Mikkeller at Ørbæk Bryggeri, Ørbæk, Denmark.
A love of American microbrews is the inspiration behind this IPA, brewed with generous amounts of aromatic, American hops, which provide the significant freshness and bitterness with lots of citrus notes. The taste sensations are nicely balanced by the sweetness from the caramel malt.
Ingredients : Water, malt (pilsner, munich and caramunich), flaked oats, hops (chinook, cascade and amarillo) and ale yeast.

bottle, from acknud I think. Orangish/yellow pur ith a small head. Rich and spicy hops hit the nose followed by some nice citrus aromas. Taste is juicy and wonderful. What a balance of hops and malt. This one is just damn good. YES!

Amber hazy body with a delicios, small lacing head. Aroma of resin, citruses, some shifty hop. The flavor is powerful with tons of hop, citruses, resin like pine, in the background are caramel, malt, fine yeast. Bitter, dry finish. Fine, characteristic.

Pours amber and hazy with a thin white head. Smells citrussy and spicy with some resiny hints. Tastes of bitter citrus, pine, some earthy tones. Some caramel as the beer warms. Enjoyable.

Cloudy amber, nice standing head. Strong hoppy aroma with notes of spices, grapefruit, pines and wood. Flavour starts sweet and end bitter, finish is long and bitter.

Bottle. Pours a lovely bright amber with an equally pleasent white head. Nose is pine and fruit. Mouthful is luscious, thisck and viscous with some slight hop bitterness in tandem with fruit. The flavor improved as the beer warmed and the mellowed flavors were more balanced. Nice brew albeit a bit pricey.

This seems to be a nice tasting IPA that goes down very smoothly. It may be better classified as a very good pale ale. It is especially satisfying relaxing after a hot day’s work.

Nothing extraordinary, but a pretty good summation of your general American IPA. Nicely balanced, not overly hoppy, very drinkable.

A very good IPA. It pours a golden copper color with an excitable white head. It smells strongly of pine, grapefruit, and hoppiness. It tastes a great IPA flavor with pine and citrus, but has that slightly dull bitter finish with a few floral notes in it. It is good, but not an earth-shatteringly incredible IPA. It is up there with Dreadnaught and 60 Minute.
