| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 24, 2008 This bottled brew from Indianapolis, IN poured a large sized head of foamy off-white colored fine to medium sized bubbles that left behind a hazy typically carbonated dark orange colored body. The mouth feel was semi-thick and tingly from start to finish. The aroma contained notes of soft piny hops. The flavor was strong with mildly piny hop malt notes. JK54B (913), Helsinki, Finland

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 11, 2008 From reading the other comments I think I might have got a bad bottle. For me, there was very little head, and very poor head retention. I didn’t get much in the way of aroma hops and I did get a lot of bittering hops. All in all, it wasn’t horrible or anything, but my experience certainly wasn’t what the other comments have to say robinvboyer (1428), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jun 7, 2008 rating #900!!! Dark amber, a very nice color for a good IPA. Nice frothy head, a nice sticky lacing. Outstanding hops aroma. Loads of citrus, grapefruit, oranges, lemons, and limes. There is also some really nice piney resin notes. The aroma is so crisp, and clean, with that great pine ending. The flavour is again, very very hoppy, but the caramel malt really comes through, and brings it alll together. The finish is obviously quite bitter, but its a nie bitterness. This is easily one of the best highly hopped IPAs that is still very well balanced. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 4, 2008 Pours with a large, thick, off-white head with good lacing, covering a clear, copper-orange body (sort of peach colored). Aroma is nice, with floral and citrus hop notes with some earthy undertones and a bit of sweet caramel malts. Taste is of bitter hops common in small IPAs, a bit thin. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 3, 2008 Very nice. Very different tasting hop profile than other IPA’s I’ve had. Nice and dry, but not too much. Not so bitter either, but has a full, fragrant and tongue drenching hop flavor and aroma. Nose has spots of pine, lemonade (?), candy, and a slight cannabis note. Pours hazy orange with minmal head. Very good IPA. twitcher (293), framingham, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 2, 2008 (from notes) High price comes with the imported and "rare new ticker-friendly brewery" territory. Typical appearance and aroma for a C-hop ipa. Flavor is decent for a hops-forward citric ipa, with some wierd malt character in the middle. Easy drinking, somewhat oily and seperated on the palate. One of the better offerings from the northern european craze, but nothing amazing. BREWMUSKCLES (1070), New Jersey, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 30, 2008 quite nice and mellows well. slick yeasty and substanial in flavor and in the palate. a bit harsh at first but mellows revealing a really good sweetness like caramel. i like to actually let it warm out a bit. at that point you get a sense of a superior brew especially in the balance. touch of malt is straw in a bit of vanilla. ballsy of them to pit the pine and citrus hop profile in confronation like that and still hop spice it up as well. very good alcohol.
