May 4, 2008 Bottle. Aroma not my favorite, although it’s possible that glassware/detergent could have been the culprit. Tastes somewhat like Summit EPA but with more alcohol, sweetness and body. I see now apparently that it’s not that much more alcohol. Surprised to see only 7%. For some reason, I thought it was an Imperial IPA. Very good IPA, but overpriced at $9.49 for a bottle.

May 1, 2008 Bottle, valid till 060310. aroma:pine and some sweet fruit. Cloudy with a small lasting foam. Bitter taste, but you can sense a lot of fruit/sweet underneath. Nicely balanced, nothing gets in the way of something else. i didn’t even think about alc, bf. i felt it.. overall great, but some kind of combination of aroma and flavor took of a point. Probably a great beer for those who love the style to begin with.

Apr 30, 2008 From draught @ Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Clear reddish/brown, thin beige head. An intense an delicious aroma of fruity hops. Yellow grapefruit, peach, tangerine and orange detetcted. Taste has a delicate malt-sweetness paired wiith a nice fruity-bitter-acidulous flavor. Fulll-bodied. Smooth. Long fruity-bitter ending. Outstanding.

Apr 30, 2008 Pours an amazingly deep and clear ruby/amber with a wonderful beige froth that rivals the best double IPAs. Aroma is fruity, waxy and lots of resin, also some honey and citrus. Flavor is lots of melon, honey-dew, bitter grapefruit, and what seems like some english malts? Hops have a nice bite to them. It is quite dry for the style. Palate is waxy, disjointed but with fine fizzy carbonation. Similar to North Bridge Extreme. This is a fine beer, I do not understand its relatively low rating.

Apr 26, 2008 Pours a honey amber color with a medium sudsy white head. Nose is very pleasant, caramel, fruit and good hop character. Mouthfeel is airy and thin. Initial taste of mild caramel, rhiney bitterness but balanced enough to be enjoyable. Finishing with a good hop balance and continuing mild caramel. Good head retention and spot lacing. Average palate duration.

Apr 26, 2008 Got to share this with Alldaydrinker. The appearance is a cloudy orange with thin lacey head along the side of the glass. The nose is extreamly strong of hops and lemon grass. The flavor is very bitter with hints of lemon and a caramel finish. It is a standard IPA with bitter hops and a malted flavor that is full bodied.

Apr 24, 2008 Bottle from Holiday Wine. Pours orange with a moderate size, tan head with decent retention and some lace. Smells sweet and earthy hoppy. Some citrus and a little caramelly malt. Tastes hoppy and malty all at the same time. Hops are sweet and earthy with good bitterness on the finish. The caramel malt flavors give a solid backbone to the brew. Full body, slightly bitter, nice smooth carbonation
