Nice citrus aroma, but not overpowering. Flavor is heavy citrus and a little bit of pine bitterness. Some sweet caramel tries to balance, but the hops win out, the way I like it. Oily mouthfeel and not much carbonation. Solid IPA overall though, looking forward to trying more of their stuff. jackson220 (136), new lenox, Illinois, USA

Citrusy aroma with some decent hops. A very thick IPA with a hint of alcohol with the hops and citrus in the taste. A little too thick for my liking, but still the taste makes up for it. Now on to there stouts! MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 11, 2008 Copper, giant head. Absolutely lovely aroma of piney and sweet hops. Flavors are big on grassy grains, straw, white pepper, grapefruit hops, piney oils, and a lingering cloying residue of bitter hops. SQNfan (591), Wheaton, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 10, 2008 Light caramel to copper in color with a frothy head of medium-sized bubbles. Aromas of fresh, ripe citrus fruits with some floral notes at the end. In the mouth this was medium-bodied and well-balanced with the flavors from the nose continuing. The palate was smooth and finished with a dry bitterness. This is everything that I would expect from a very well made IPA. That said, there was nothing thag grabbed me and forced me to pay attention. So, while I could drink this often, given the price it’s not going to happen. GMCC2181 (856), Bear/Elkton, Delaware, USA
