Apr 9, 2008 Served cold from bottle. This beer came highly recommended, so I was anxious to try it. It pours a translucent copper/amber color with a large, white head that leaves a good amount of lacing. The aroma is very hoppy, and rounded out with some floral notes. The flavor is crisp and filled with hops. The aftertaste is a little too bitter for my palate, but it is still quite drinkable and a good take on the India Pale Ale model.

Apr 8, 2008 Updated: Apr 9, 2008Orlando, Fl - Knightly Spirits - 500 ml bottle. Dark copper pour, fluffy, sticky white head that leaves a sticky coat of lacing. Sprrucey aroma, slighlty muted with some floral notes. Bitter grapefruity citrusy hoppiness; not tongue numbing; with some mint, a dash of nectarines and a back end of caramel. Standard IPA - nothing offensive here - nothing to push it above the others - other than its uniqueness that it is an American style IPA from Denmark. Good, sticky mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

but it just did not have any punch...most californian pale ales have way more hop complexity than this beer...which I paid way too much for 7 bucks...and I could have had a mahraja

Apr 4, 2008 This was a nice find. Didn’t expect it, but enjoyed it very much. The aroma was all amarillo hops with lots of citrus and an almost candy like quality. Palate, while possibly being a touch thin, remained balanced until the dry finish. No complaints at all. Infact, I can think of a few American Craft IPAs that I would like to send over to Denmark, so that these guys can teach them how it’s done.

Apr 3, 2008 Almost amber pour with decent off-white head. Pine sweet and citrus nose. Flavor is hoppy with a nice bite, yet I was really impressed with the nice roasted malt back of this beer. Finish is a little bitter.

Apr 3, 2008 wow!do these guys do anything that sucks?the ansewer would be no.the aroma was alittle more subtle than an american ipa,the flavor was very balanced nice malt to back up the hops.the best thing was the palate smooth,and velvet.

Mar 31, 2008 Really nice hop aroma, well rounded. Not just spicy, but also floral and a bit of sweetness as well. Nice color a deep straw. Excellent head with massive lacing from top to bottom as I drink. Flavor again, is a good blend of hop flavors, very pronounced and a great sweetness balance and a slightly dry finish. Great IPA.

Mar 31, 2008 Pours bright copper into a shaker. Fluffy head leaves spot lacing as it recedes to skim surface and hug rim. Caramel and pine aromas. Crisp with upfront grapefruit, vanilla middle and a lasting resin finish.
