Boozy chocolate grape aroma with grainy malt and a hint of tang. Hazy, brown red body with a medium-lasting foamy almond head. Heavy Belgian doughy yeast flavour has a bit of sourdough, potato vegetable and a hint of seaweed. Medium-full body is thick. Interesting, hides alcohol well; perhaps even better when cold. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA

Pours light coppery clear color with a short lived head. Smell is nicely hopped and earthy and fruity in nature. Noce moderate to strong bitterness and tingly, spicy like fresh hop flavor. Medium to thin bodied and a nice balancing sweetness. Slight astringency as it warms. Overall a well done IPA. Thanks again! Palidor19 (1764), Brandon, Florida, USA

Piney, citrus flavor with good hop bite. Best non- American IPA I’ve had to this point. Will seek out again. Bartzilla (443), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 24, 2007 Mikkeller does it again. Could just as well be a San Diego IPA. Well balanced, not overdone. I would like to take a moment and thank Jimbowood for sending it to Naven, who in turn shared it with me. For a brief moment, I felt felt what it was like to be a rock star. Oh, wait, that was the vicodins. Nonetheless, this was a delicious treat. Naven (869), Poway, California, USA

Mikkeller pretty much nailed this style. Not my favorite IPA, but still pretty nice. agl108 (503), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA

Sweet and dry. Very interesting, seems more like a hoppy English pale ale. SuzyGreenberg (1324), Seattle, Washington, USA
