Sep 16, 2007 (Bottle) Dark reddish amber colour, slightly hazy, with brief bubbly off-white head. Fruity nose with orange peel, grapefruit and loads of resin and pine needles. Underneath there are notes of slightly toasty, sweet caramel. Fruity, very hoppy taste with grapefruit, orange peel, pine needles, resin and thick, massive flavours of american hops in a long finish. Lots of caramel, malt sweetness shines through all the way. Full body, thick, almost oily mouthfeel. Massive, uncompromising IPA. Not for the weak hearted. Great beer!

Sep 4, 2007 Bottle. Hazy orange-amber with a moderate sized white head. Aroma and flavour of sweet tea and honey, with hints of citrus (or marmalade, to be accurate) and pineapple. Body is a bit sticky, but still nice. Finish is a bit warm, which works well with the flavours. Very nice stuff.

Sep 2, 2007 0.5 l bottle. Hazy brown to amber color. Sweetish, grainy and hoppy aroma with marmelade, melon, pineapple and grapefruit. Bittersweet flavor with vinous bitterness, pine, pineapple and some sharp alcohols.

Aug 30, 2007 Fad. Rigtig flot amerikansk IPA, det er bare ikke lige min stil, men ekstra point skal gives for at være hvad man giver sig ud for. Meget bitter i en flot humlearoma. Malten giver et godt modspil så bitterheden er til at holde ud.

Aug 20, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a murky burnt orange body with a small beige head. Aroma of caramel, pine, and florals. Flavor of toffee, mild hops, light herbal qualities, grass, and citrus with a bitter finish. I am enjoying the Scandinavian hoppy beers lately.

Aug 20, 2007 Bouteille de 500 ml obtenue via Importations Privées Bièropholie. Arôme: Odeur d’agrumes avec une pointe d’épices. Apparence: La couleur est ambrée voilée. Présence d’un moyen col mousseux et d’une large dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût d’agrumes et de pins avec une pointe fruitée. Longue durée de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement crémeuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Présence d’amertume d’agrumes en arrière goût. (Rating #1181)

Aug 3, 2007 500ml bottle, thanks to Phil_L for this one. Hazy red/brown, lasting beige head. PNW hop aroma, some red berry malt. Some sticky toffee too, which carries on into mouth, along iwth resinous hop, which turns piney and grapefruity hot hop finish. Slightly sticky and sweet actually. Fine, but not as awesome as I expected.
