...Bullseye... This beer definitely evokes comparisons to the best American Ales like those from Rogue, Bear Republic, and my personal biased favorite (since I could throw a rock from my back yard to this brewery), Abita. Pours a bronze color with a medium sized fairly persistent off white head that leaves even lacy lacing. Potent floral nose with notes of yeast. Hoppy flavor with lacings of wood, citrus, caramel, and sweet malts. Woody, hoppy finish. glennmastrange (837), hobe sound, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 24, 2009 Bottle. Light aromas all around, with roasted for the malt, orange for the hops, soap for the yeast, and date and toffee in the background. Head is small, creamy with larger bubbles, white, with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is hazy amber/orange. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, watery but a little slick, and has a lively carbonation. Light on everything, but everything was pretty good. RichardGretton (3143), Leicestershire, England

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 21, 2009 Cloudy orange amber, thin white head. Citrus and pine aroma with malt undertone. Hoppy, dry/astringent, green and slightly cloying aftertaste. Hops are much bigger in the taste than the nose leads on. Malt plays very small part. Nice powerful IPA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 20, 2009 Pretty beer - nice bright copper orange, beautiful looking beer. Smells light and fruity/malty (for the style, certainly). Outstanding flavor - well balanced hops and slightly caramel sweetness - reminded me of SN Pale more than it’s IPA kin. Great-drinking beer.
