| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 15, 2009 The aroma on this beer lacked any major components, very muted. The color was a dark orangey-amber, a small thin head with minimal lacing. Flavor was fairly malty with earthy hop flavors and some pine. I enjoyed this beer but have definitely had IPAs that I prefer. For the price, I probably won’t have this beer again. Pawola22 (713), Kansas City, Missouri, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 14, 2009 1pint .9oz bottle. Pours a hazy ruby-orange body with a two-finger width, dense and foamy, off-white colored head that dissipates slowly and leaves a lot of layered lacing. Aroma of bright and fresh pine hops. Mostly grapefruit citrus with a decent amount of sweet caramels to balance the aroma. Flavor is very similar with more of an earthy resiny taste. Lots of heavy pine and lingering grapefruit. Some sweet caramels, but not perfectly balanced. Definitely focused on the hops. Medium palate and surprisingly easy drinking for an almost harsh hop profile. Overall, a very straightforward hop bomb. Not as balanced as I generally like, but very good nonetheless. tarheels86 (732), Washington DC, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 5, 2009 500 mL. Pours a cloudy amber with a beautiful beige, rocky head that leaves a good amount of sticky lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, orange peel, brown sugar, creme brulee. Taste is equally sweet with some good hops balancing but not nearly as much hops presence compared to All Others Pale, which is funny. There is a good spicy alcohol presence here along with brown sugar oatmeal, pine sap, caramel, honeydew melon. (An odd mix).
Very long, bitter finish. Very nice. AskForJenny (641), Ontario, New York, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 3, 2009 From the bottle (and a well designed one it is too):
Smells light and green, slightly piney and with hints of skunk and stinging nettles.
Hmm an almost savoury flavour here. Big and orangey but spicy in a curry kind of way. Very aromatic. Very green in the mouth too, great bitter bite, pine resin. Very refreshing. Something underlying that could hint at sweetness but I wouldn’t stake my life on it. A very well balanced brew. Bitterness reigned in by the woody aromatics. Very good.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 29, 2009 Bottle. Cloudy copper pour with a big off-white head. Citrusy and grassy hop aroma with a malt balance. Sweet and bready malt flavor with a citrus hop influence. Would have preferred a bit more hop bite to balance out the malt, but still pretty good. cyrenaica (440), Milton, Ontario, Canada

I tried this beer on September 4, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured an orange-brown colour with a generous tan coloured head that laced very well down the glass. The aroma was pine and floral in nature indicating ample hoppiness. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was definitely hoppy with grapefruit and citrus tones in abundance. If it wasn’t for price, I would certainly try this beer again.
