Commercial Description:
Earlier batches brewed by Mikkeller at Ørbæk Bryggeri, Ørbæk, Denmark.
A love of American microbrews is the inspiration behind this IPA, brewed with generous amounts of aromatic, American hops, which provide the significant freshness and bitterness with lots of citrus notes. The taste sensations are nicely balanced by the sweetness from the caramel malt.
Ingredients : Water, malt (pilsner, munich and caramunich), flaked oats, hops (chinook, cascade and amarillo) and ale yeast.

This amber ale poured with a nice off-white head and a floral aroma. There is a delicious caramel malt base with an excellent blend of balancing hops. Excellent long-lasting palate. This is a very nice brew.

[On tap at Plan B]. Amarillo at its strongest. The strong hoppy taste makes not this beer for the fainthearted. It is almost like drinking a gewürztraminer whitewine from Alsace. Of course with cheese ex. gorgonzola!

Bottle. A better example of American IPA than the vast majority of American IPA’s! Orange color. Big time aroma and taste, full of hops. Very nice IPA.

Draught af Københavnske Øldage 2006. Grassy aromas mixed with a truckload of grapefruit, lemons and lime. Medium- to fullbodied, fairly dry - making it very drinkable in spite of high bitterness - and carbonated perfectly, which gives it a nice rounded mouthfeel. Very good.

Brown/golden, very hazy with a creamy, nice head. The aroma has fantastic notes of aroma hops and fruit. The flavour doesn’t disappoint with it’s smooth and mellow notes of fruit, citrus and caramel before the refreshing bitterness ends the experience in a nice and very long finish. The bitterness isn’t as extreme as I thought it would be, but it’s still extremely nice....

Bottle (50 cl) from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen, Denmark. Wonderful reddish amber with a huge off-white head with a yellow hue. Fruity aroma with peaches, mango, and apricot, along with floral and piney notes of hops. Medium bodied with smooth mouthfeel. Long bitter finish. A great IPA.
