trapez (766), Hilleroed, Denmark Sep 12, 2008 Bottle. Great aroma - filled with hops. Clear amber colour with nice white head. Bitter flavour as would be expected from the tremendous amonts of hops, but also fruits. Just great. Long lasting bitteness. A great mixture af Danish and American brewing art. Ethereal (1500), London, Greater London, England Sep 9, 2008 Bottle, 9th August 2008. Coppery amber with a hoppy nose and flavour, but more balanced and restrained than most American IPAs. Good long aftertaste. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Sep 8, 2008 Bottle poured into a shaker. Poured a clear dark amber color with a three finger off white head. Aroma of malt and citrus hops. Flavor is slightly too malty, but a slight grapefruit flavor pushes through. Bitter dry finish at the end. uhclem (188), Loveland, Colorado, USA Sep 2, 2008 Apricot pour with a beige head and moderate lacing. Nose is of grapefruit and malt. Taste is a bit overburdened by the malt, yet the hop bitterness is still there, especially at the end. Mouthfeel is sensuous and the finish is crisp and clean - the bitterness lasts quite a while. Not a great IPA, but a good effort on the part of our Danish brothers to make an American style IPA. hirigalzkar (550), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 30, 2008 Updated: Sep 5, 2008Bottle from Kihoskh. Strong grapefruit aroma. Bitter hops. Good but not very complex. DKTN (110), Mc Donald, Tennessee, USA Aug 30, 2008 Copper colored with large with head. Strong hop aroma with citrus, grapefruit, and flowery notes. Grapefruity and earthy flavor with some malts present. Bitter with a dry finish. Great stuff. darn1207 (528), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 23, 2008 16.9oz bottle from the World of Beers bottleshop in clearwater. hazy orange pour with a big white head that sticks around a while. mainly a citrus hop aroma with just a hint of flower and honey. clean crisp bitter hop profile highlighted by tastes of grapefruit, biscuits, caramel. chewy medium texture. excellent balance. great stuff. K-9 vyvvy (2023), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA Aug 22, 2008 Pours orange / light bronze with a beige soapy head. The aroma has grapefruit, pine, green onions and musty malt. Medium body that is quite resiny with a moderate amount of sharp carbonation. The flavor begins with creamy caramel malt, earthy / piny hops, sour grapefruit and lots of sticky resin. The finish has a dry hoppiness than lingers for a lot time. A very nice IPA, I just wish it was priced so I could get it more often.
