pepperford (115), robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA Aug 20, 2008 lots of head and lacing. sweetness and a round bitterness makes for a euro-version of an american ipa or double. Good punchy hoppy nose some pine, some floral but plenty there. Nice bittersweet taste, clean fresh but very hoppy, nice citrussy flavours in particluar I get some nice sweet tangerine, good tanginess, a very nice beer. jetzler (622), oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA Aug 19, 2008 Bottle, floral hops notes, light malt aromas. Taste is slightly bitter, pine and some citrus, and cereal grains. A bit waxy. Decent mouthfeel not bad at all quite enjoyable but still not as complex or robust as other IPAs. beerguy101 (3861), Newark, California, USA Aug 18, 2008
This IPA pours a copper gold color from a 50cl bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, with nice lacing and good retention. The aroma is floral, grapefruity and a touch of caramel malts. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are grapefruity and floral. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Crisp and clean. A nice IPA without being over the top or a huge flavored IPA. This would be a nice everyday drinking IPA. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
daknole (2810), Plantation, Florida, USA Aug 17, 2008 bottle, from acknud I think. Orangish/yellow pur ith a small head. Rich and spicy hops hit the nose followed by some nice citrus aromas. Taste is juicy and wonderful. What a balance of hops and malt. This one is just damn good. YES! armando629 (957), Budapest, Hungary Aug 16, 2008 Amber hazy body with a delicios, small lacing head. Aroma of resin, citruses, some shifty hop. The flavor is powerful with tons of hop, citruses, resin like pine, in the background are caramel, malt, fine yeast. Bitter, dry finish. Fine, characteristic. Cletus (5002), Connecticut, USA Aug 15, 2008 Pours amber and hazy with a thin white head. Smells citrussy and spicy with some resiny hints. Tastes of bitter citrus, pine, some earthy tones. Some caramel as the beer warms. Enjoyable.
