cellar (484), Dublin, Ireland Aug 14, 2008 Cloudy amber, nice standing head. Strong hoppy aroma with notes of spices, grapefruit, pines and wood. Flavour starts sweet and end bitter, finish is long and bitter. Thaichile (599), 10aFly, New Jersey, USA Aug 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours a lovely bright amber with an equally pleasent white head. Nose is pine and fruit. Mouthful is luscious, thisck and viscous with some slight hop bitterness in tandem with fruit. The flavor improved as the beer warmed and the mellowed flavors were more balanced. Nice brew albeit a bit pricey. AR (417), Georgia, USA Aug 9, 2008 This seems to be a nice tasting IPA that goes down very smoothly. It may be better classified as a very good pale ale. It is especially satisfying relaxing after a hot day’s work. jdjuice (203), Japan Aug 2, 2008 Nothing extraordinary, but a pretty good summation of your general American IPA. Nicely balanced, not overly hoppy, very drinkable. markwise (1132), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA Aug 1, 2008 A very good IPA. It pours a golden copper color with an excitable white head. It smells strongly of pine, grapefruit, and hoppiness. It tastes a great IPA flavor with pine and citrus, but has that slightly dull bitter finish with a few floral notes in it. It is good, but not an earth-shatteringly incredible IPA. It is up there with Dreadnaught and 60 Minute. Indulgence (141), Ajo, Arizona, USA Jul 31, 2008 Tasted during outage: An above average IPA, but didn’t blow me away despite the numbers. With the price, yikes... there are as tasty IPAs but for a fraction of the price. jblendy (518), Midland Park, New Jersey, USA Jul 28, 2008 Just above average IPA, although a bit weak in malt profile. Lots citric and piny hops, but just not a whole lot to back them up. Maybe I was just expecting more from the hyped up Mikkeller. alobar (1006), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 26, 2008 Pours with a thick soapy white head. Hazy amber in color with an aroma of hops that pleases. Smooth beer. Taste of hops, and citrus. Very well done.
