Jun 3, 2009 Bottle @ Mondial de la bière 2009. Amber with fluffy white head. Aroma is resinous hops, grapefruit and citrus. Some sweet notes also. Taste is mainly resinous hops. Medium bitterness during the long finish. Lost of grapefruit. Quite sweet. Very tasty brew. Would have it again anytime !

Jun 3, 2009 Bottle. Caramel brown color. 2 inch lacey, lucious head. Apricot, orange, tangy hints. Hoppy in aroma and taste; gives me that good citrus bitterness I crave in an IPA. Exquisite mix of hops, fruit, toffee. Like drinkinga Jolly Rancher candy. Very nice and worth searching for.

May 31, 2009 bottle at Fort Wayne tasting - Pours slightly hazy copper with an off-white head. It has a big citrus hops aroma with grapefruit in particular coming to the fore. The flavor features lots of citrus accented hops. There’s some mild malt in the background that maybe could have had a little more character. The balance works alright. The hops finish is crisp and enjoyable.

May 29, 2009 Bottled at BH, Pori. Light amber, staying pale head. Aroma has basic good citric fruity hops, little sweetish pale maltiness. Flavor is sweet toffee malts, honey, fruitiness. Grapefruit zesty finish. Too sweet to be refreshing. Medium bodied, softly carbonated mouthfeel, could have little chewiness in it. Good, but very typical pale & sweet IPA.

May 27, 2009 50cl Bottle. A bit hazy golden/copper color. Aroma is filled with fruit,hops,pine and some grassy notes. Smells inviting! Taste starts out a bit sweet. Continues with caramel,pine,citrus,hops and faint tones of caramel.

May 26, 2009 Bottle. Hazy golden brown with a small off-white head. Aromas are caramel malts with green resinous pine. Fresh and spicy. Flavours are smooth sweet caramel with bitter pine and grapefruit. Peppery and yeasty with a bitter finish. Fresh and good.

This beer definitely evokes comparisons to the best American Ales like those from Rogue, Bear Republic, and my personal biased favorite (since I could throw a rock from my back yard to this brewery), Abita. Pours a bronze color with a medium sized fairly persistent off white head that leaves even lacy lacing. Potent floral nose with notes of yeast. Hoppy flavor with lacings of wood, citrus, caramel, and sweet malts. Woody, hoppy finish.
