Upon the pour from the 500ml bottle, it appears a slightly hazy amber with a two-fingered creamy white head that fades leaving a complete blanket of lace upon the glass. Nose has a delicious hop floral aroma, followed quickly by the sweet malt, crisp and clean, mouthwatering. Start has a delectable malt presence, hop bitter at the back, somewhat sweet with the top moderate in feel. Finish has a persistent acidity, the hops powerful and spicy, aftertaste is bone dry and the hops stick to the palate, quite a refreshing beer.

Vibrantly gold. Very nice mouthfeel: soft, rich, appropriately carbonated. Wonderful flavors and aromas from start to finish. Malts had elements of freshly baked bread, yeasty dough, sugary caramel and faint honey. Hops were bright with pine, flowers, earth and citrus (grapefruit, tangerine, lemon). Some heat in the back of the throat melded well with a grassy bitterness. Bold yet pleasant. Overall, I really enjoyed this IPA.

Brown bottle, 50 cl, via Importations Privées Bièropholie, savoured on July 9 2008; eye: copper, clear, no effervescence, voluminous white head made up of rather large bubbles and that falls to leave a ring, a bit of lacincg; nose: pine, grapefruit, orange zest, light grass, light resinous hops; mouth: pine, grapefruit, a tiny wave of caramel comes in to counterbalance the bitter hops, dry finale in pine, light astringency, mildly bitter, lightly sweet, medium-full body, slightly harsh texture, not much carbonation; overall: quite likable FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 50 cl, 7,0 %, via Importations Privées Bièropholie, savourée le 9 juillet 2008; œil : cuivrée, claire, pas d’effervescence, mousse blanche volumineuse formée de bulles plutôt grosses et qui tombe pour laisser un petit anneau, un peu de dentelle; nez : pin, pamplemousse, zeste d’orange, léger herbe, léger houblon résineux; bouche : pin, pamplemousse, petite vague de caramel vient contrebalancer un peu le houblon amérisant, finale sèche en pin, légère astringence, moyennement amère, légèrement sucrée, corps moyen-corsé, texture légèrement rugueuse, peu carbonatée; en résumé : bien aimé

This bottled brew from Indianapolis, IN poured a large sized head of foamy off-white colored fine to medium sized bubbles that left behind a hazy typically carbonated dark orange colored body. The mouth feel was semi-thick and tingly from start to finish. The aroma contained notes of soft piny hops. The flavor was strong with mildly piny hop malt notes.
