A love of American microbrews is the inspiration behind this IPA, brewed with generous amounts of aromatic, American hops, which provide the significant freshness and bitterness with lots of citrus notes. The taste sensations are nicely balanced by the sweetness from the caramel malt.
Ingredients : Water, malt (pilsner, munich and caramunich), flaked oats, hops (chinook, cascade and amarillo) and ale yeast.

Run of the Mill hoppiness, citrusy, piney notes. Crisp and Clean, amber colour, medium white head, lacing. Noticable but not extremely aggressive bite, mid-sweet. Medium body, average carbonation, short finish. Ok, but a bit of a let down.

"wow - 98th percentile! i’m a little surprised. i think this ones a pretty average ipa overall. the body and color are nice, and i get what it’s going for...big sweet malt and big aromatic citrus and pine hops...but there is a slight vegetal component to the aroma and flavor that’s just not jivin with me, so it turns out ok, when otherwise it coulda been quite good. not worth the coin when better ipas are available for much cheaper."

Solid ale right in the mould of a high quality APA - massively bitter hop drive - hugely piney, also good amount of fruit flavour and a herbal edge - decent lick of biscuit malt - a very good drink but somehow doesn’t raise itself above the crowd to be memorable.

Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a deep orange with minimal white head. Nose shows citrus, lemon peel, grapefruit and grassy notes. Taste is heavy lemon peel up front, pine, grass, caramel and juicy hops. Lingering bitterness hits the spot. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a 330ml bottle on 266/2014. Pours a cloudy, dirty light amber with a biggish thick head. The nose features lots of fruity hops, with a touch of spice and yeast. Taste wise, it’s quite full on, and typical of a US style IPA, with caramel malt, some sweet citrus fruit, and a big, resiny, sticky, slightly spicy, salty, lingering hop bitterness at the end. Has a medium to full body and average carbonation. A very good, satisfying IPA.
