A love of American microbrews is the inspiration behind this IPA, brewed with generous amounts of aromatic, American hops, which provide the significant freshness and bitterness with lots of citrus notes. The taste sensations are nicely balanced by the sweetness from the caramel malt.
Ingredients : Water, malt (pilsner, munich and caramunich), flaked oats, hops (chinook, cascade and amarillo) and ale yeast.

Good IPA. I love the bubbly copper color and foamy head. The beer has a nice lively mouthfeel. The nose is caramel and bright hops. The taste is balanced and refreshing--not too bitter or sweet.

330ml bottle from Hippo Beers. Hazy reddish orange brown, not much head. Oaty resin hop aroma. Flowery sweet resin flavour. Bitter sweet aftertaste. Not as good as other ratings suggest.

Bottle @home. Pours orange, its cloudy/hazy with a big-ish white head, high carbonation. On the nose caramel and a big dollop of fruits, citrus fruits giving it a bitter smell. A big bitter aftertaste, nice and fresh.

Firm even cloudy orange, decent greasy eggshell ringed head. Pithy grapefruit, and bullishly floral. Creamy, mulched grassiness and a winged lemony crunch rather than a full blown rich citrusness. Carbonation driven bitterness, kept a little in check by a decent floor of malt sweetness. Finishes firm, greasy chirps of the ABV but a rounded biterrness all the same. Very sinkable.

Bottle at home from Brewdog online. Translucent burnt orange coloured pour with a big fluffy off white head. Aroma is subdued, lime lemon citrus, touch of mango and mineral. Flavour is big sharp grapefruit and lemon citrus, with other tropical fruits plying background roles. Palate is very highly carbonated, some carbonic acid bite. Assertive clean bitterness, which is in nice balance with the total beer. Good citrusy IPA.

Cloudy amber with small fizzy off-white head and lots of legs. Smell is faint, yeasty hop and dry grass and a bit of corn. Taste is very hoppy - resinous and dry - with a tiny bit of spicy malt. Very bitter dry finish. A very American tasting IPA.

Deep hazy amber - nice. Aroma is floral piney hops but a bit of rubbery smell in there too, which taints both the smell and taste for me. Otherwise a good very dry bitter IPA but the slight rubber/rust flavor ruins it. Maybe a bad bottle.

On tap at Mikkeller Bar, SF. Hazy amber with a foamy head. Awesome fruit candy aroma. Sweet fruity taste, with a boozy bitter finish. Full body. Great IPA.
