On tap at Borefts I. Dirty cherry red beer. Lives up to it’s name does this one. A little cherry well buried in some very acidic sourness. So acid it burns all the way down like cheap hooch! A real brute of a sour beer. Quite an experience - pass the antacid!

10/13/8/12//12

Draught @ Borefts Beer Festival 2009 - De Molen.
Unclear medium to dark deap red color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - pink head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy tart and sour cherry, vinegar, medicine, berry, sour berry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft. After tasting all the beers my every second beer was a Närke on draught then the Super Sour Kriek on draught and then Närke ..etc.. what a night ;O)) Make it happen again Menno .. [20091030]

Draft. Entered to celebrate my rating number 15,500. An unclear dark red beer with a rim of pinkish head. The aroma has strong notes of vinegar, sour cherries, and lacto. The flavor is extremely sour with notes of lacto, cherries, and horseblanket, leading to a lovely tart finish. Nice one - though maybe hard to finish a pint of.

Tasted at the first, great, Borefts Beer Festival 2009 @ De Molen. Red colored brew. Sour aroma. Flavor is sour, cherries, fruits, tart. Not really my thing, but drinkable. Not really balanced.

On tap at Ølbutikken, Thanks! Pours a murky purple with a tiny head. Smells sour with hints of athlete’s feet. Sour and sweet. Lots of cherry aromas. Some wood aromas. Some residual sugars and tiny hints of plastic towards the end. Full bodied and gives you bitter tasting lips. Medium to carbonation. Long cherryish finish. Fruity and fresh. Good.

On tap at ølbutikken. It pours an unclear red colour with a red head. Sweet cherries, wood and vinegar in the nose. Flavour is sour at first, then sweet followed by vinegar, all with notes of cherries. It finishes nice and dry with notes of wood and dry cherries.

On tap at Borefts BF 09. Deep burgundy colour. Cloudy. Sour as hell. Aroma of cherries. Really sweet kriek cherries in mouth and then sour burn on swallow and finish. Really full in mouth. Funky too. Bit of plastic.

Unclear deep red with a tiny pinkish head. Loads of lacto hits the nose along with sour cherries. Sour flavour with loads of lacto, sour cherries and a sour burn in the throat. A bit one dimensional but ok.
