Reddish brown of color with a small beige head. An aroma of red berries, sweets, raspberries, caramel and weak sour. A flavor of red berries, cherries, sweets, oak, sour, dry and weak caramel notes.

Pours reddish brown with a soapy light brown head. Aroma is sweet spicy rum, oak, vanilla, acetone, sweet cherries, caramel, lacto. Taste is very sweet, rum soaked raisins, oak, vanilla, vinegary sourness, notes of cherries, a dry finish from the oak and yeast. Very reminiscent of the Mikkeller Sour Wine - is part of this beer made from Sour Wine?

This reminds me a little of Amagers Souramager, which isnt a good thing, unfortunatly. Aroma is just powerfull acetone leading my thoughts towards something i really really shouldnt drink. Sour flavor with a unripe berry bitterness. Too wierd.

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2014 Pours redish brown with off white head. Aroma of sour yeast, oak, sweet cherry, spicey and sour wine. Taste of sweet caramel, sourness, oak, raspberries, sweeter malts and grapes.

Pours murky dark red-brown with a small, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has sharp acetone, raspberries, sour malts, caramel. A bit sharp in its tartness. Low carbonation, fat and rather oily palate. Flavour is tart, dry and oaky. Some raspberry notes, rather plummy, light acetone and petroleum. Fairly drinkable, even if this is not the best sour in the world.

Draft. A murky red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of vinegar, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with sour notes of vinegar, and notes of malt, berries, and caramel, leading to a lightly tart finish. The mouthfeel is a bit light compared to the ABV, but the alcohol still leaves a slight burn on the tongue.

15-APR-2011, bottle @home, from "Fish & Beer". Giant beige bubbles that disolves quickly leaving a brown body. Acetone on the nose but also a herbal note. Taste is tart, lemony, medicinal with some berries as well over a very sweet brown sugary body. Funny beast - the sour versus belgian strong ale stuff is really interesting. Not sure I really like it though. Could be more sour, could be less acetone.

Tap @ Mikkeller Bar. Pours dark amber with a small creamy off white head. Nose is heavy acetone and berries. Sweet fruity flavor, dark fruit with a fine level of tartness. Medium bodied.

On tap. Pours an opaque reddish brown with a small off-white head. The nose has plenty of sweet rotten fruit and acetone. Medium body, sweet berry-like fruit and wood - think Rodenbach. Again noble rot, very sweet dessert wine yet with an extreme acetic tartness in the finish. 070411
