Bottle thx to benzai. Amber colour, small creamy white head. Smells sour, white wine. Tastes sweet and sour at the same time. Red fruits, wood. Quite a bit of carbo for its style, medium to full body. Feels bad in the throat.

Bottle from Minks- Marietta, GA ----> snifter. Pours a murky brown with a thin white head that quickly disappears leaving good lacing. Aroma is leather and vinegar. Taste is vineagry lemon with a tad bit of spice. Very thick on the palate and leaves a sensation on the back of your tongue. I will fully admit that this is my first sour, so I don’t know if it is a good representation of the style, but it definately makes me want to seek out more sours. Very solid beer.

Bottle from Brewdog shop. Brown color, white head. Very sour taste with overripe fruits. Pretty decent brew, a bit too extreme in my opinion.

500 ml bottle from The Wine and Cheese Place. Pours a deep amber color with a medium off-white head that laces the glass. Aroma of balsamic vinegar, celery, vanilla, sugar, and rotten fruit. Flavor of berries, balsamic, apples, vanilla, caramel, and leaves. Medium-bodied, with a sweet, fruity, vinegary mouthfeel and medium carbonation. The mix of vinegar, vegetables, and fruit doesn’t work for me so much in this one.

(500ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye) clear still copper, nose of paper, odd wood, subdued, weird sourness and acetone with some cider vinegar too. Taste of cider vinegar, quite tart, acetone, really pretty nasty.

50 cl bottle @ home. Pours cloudy reddish brown with a little sediment and a small off-white head that fades and leaves a little lacing. Aroma is bitter and tart with hints of vinegar, caramel malt, sour berries. Taste is very tart and acidic and is dominated by sour berries and vinegar.

Bottle (50cl) from Vinmonopolet (Vika), Oslo. Small offwhite head, settles as an uneven ring with large bubbles. Murky reddish/orangey brown colour. Aroma of wine vinegar, dried sweet fruit, caramel, raspberries, oak. Medium body, flat carbonation. Sour-sweet taste with a slightly burning vinegar sensation. Mildly bitter/tart. Despite the ABV and acidity, I find it quite easy to drink.

Reddish brown pour with no head. Nose is rich and malty with sour esters behind.
Slightly sour quad. Syrupy sweet overall. Rich full bodied. Slightly woody drier finish.

Poured a bit cold with a fizzy, light tan head that soon settles to a ring andno lace. Color is a hazy red orange with amber highlights. Aroma is fruit, grape, vinegar. Flavor’s like nose but much more intense, to the point that some of the flavors are chemically. Pronounced sweettartness with some bitter. Body is ok although the chemical thing isn’t too good, carbonation is just right. Finish is like flavor, long, and this is the only bottle for me.

On tap at Farmers Cabinet for the 25 draft Mikkeller event. Pours a light colored brown. Aromas of vinegar, oaky wood, cherries. Taste is very grapey and ultra tart. Pretty acidic.
