Reddish brown pour with no head. Nose is rich and malty with sour esters behind. Slightly sour quad. Syrupy sweet overall. Rich full bodied. Slightly woody drier finish.

Poured a bit cold with a fizzy, light tan head that soon settles to a ring andno lace. Color is a hazy red orange with amber highlights. Aroma is fruit, grape, vinegar. Flavor’s like nose but much more intense, to the point that some of the flavors are chemically. Pronounced sweettartness with some bitter. Body is ok although the chemical thing isn’t too good, carbonation is just right. Finish is like flavor, long, and this is the only bottle for me.

50cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - Thanks! Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of sour berries, red currant and raisins. Fruity and sour with flavour of sour berries. Nice bitterness and very refreshing. Nice sour ale. (2012-05-26)

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Vika, Oslo. The original label says ABV is 9.99%, an extra label put on by Nøgne Ø says ABV is 9.75%. Slightly hazy brown colour, moderate white head. The aroma has some notes of red wine vinegar and oak, but is first and foremost dominated by cheap industrial vinegar. The flavour is very sour and vinegary, but also very sweet and sugary, without any noticeable bitterness. Completely unbalanced. My first drainpour from Mikkeller.

UPDATED: SEP 20, 2012 Bottle @ home with the fiance. Poured a murky cola-like brown. Smell is heavy vinegar, so much so that it almost burns my nostrils to smell. Acetone, nail polish, and slight cherry on the nose, as well. Taste is extremely acidic, big vinegar, some wood, a touch of alcohol, and cherry on the finish. Mouthfeel is thin, yet sticky, with lingering acid on my tastebuds. Overall, just way too acidic/vinegary for my liking and not very well-balanced. bleh.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Vika. Pours murky brown with a small white head. Aroma of sour berries, vinegar and puke. Taste is sour, light fruity, sweet with a unpleasant aceton and shoepolish note.
