3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Color is orange-brown, a bit hazy. The aroma is (wine) vinegar, oak and has a light maltyness. Tingling to the mouth, taste has lots of oak, some wine vinegar, dark fruits and a light malty sweetness in the end. A very nice sour ale, but might be a bit of an acquired taste.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Rich brown colour, hardly any head. Very sour almost blows your head off on first sip, intense sour flavours with mild fruit, corresponding sips are much more pleasant, impressive balance, very interesting beer.

Botella de 50 cl. en casa. En mayo de 2012. Color rojizo con espuma blanca tirando también a rojizo. Aroma a caramelo y cítrico. Cuerpo suave.

Starke Karbo.
Mustte ich leider wegkippen.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle from Mi-Orge Mi-Houblon, Arlon, Belgium!
Pours reddish copper colored with flat head, that disappears very quickly. Smells yeasty-sourish with some berries and some caramel malts. Starts yeasty-sourish with some sweet fruity notes. The middle part has an undefinable undertone, that is a little bis disgusting. Some kind of rotten fruits. Goes into a very sourish and yeasty finish with lots of sour cherries and again some rotten fruits. Sorry, but I didn’t like that one :-(

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pretty solid but nothing to make me say ’wow.’ Slight vinger and acidic notes to it. Quite a bit of vanilla and underlying nutty tones. Not bad and really quite sour but nothing great

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a murky golden with a small white cap. Vinegar, cherries & funk dominate the nose. Taste is very vinegary with more sour cherries/acidity about it. Pretty fucking interesting

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a brownish red with a short off-white head and lacing. It has an aroma of dark and sour cherries, some funk, dust, and a bit of caramel. The flavor is sour fruit up front with a slightly sweeter middle and sweet and bitter finish over a light body.

0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Sour taste of citrus fruits with hints of urea. Makes your tongue crinkle. Where’s a weasel when you need it... (In defence of the sour ale, I must say I’m not a fan of the style in general.)

2.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Murky red/brown pour with a thin off-white head. Aroma is straight up acetone. Smells like nothing but nail-polish remover. If you get past that, the flavor of the beer is interesting. Tart, fruity, maybe some raisins and dark cherries. Shared bottle and for half the folks it was a drain pour and the other half thought it was amazing. I liked it, but the smell killed it.
