From tap at MikkellerBar. Pours hazy amber to brown with a small white head. Aroma is acetic and fruity. Malty, fruity and acetone. Slight chemical and acidic. Wineous, slight wooden and fruity. Fruity, sweet and slight acidic finish. Nice flavoured. Tough aroma.

Ungstrup (29081) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 19, 2011
Draft. A murky red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of vinegar, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with sour notes of vinegar, and notes of malt, berries, and caramel, leading to a lightly tart finish. The mouthfeel is a bit light compared to the ABV, but the alcohol still leaves a slight burn on the tongue.

On tap. Pours an opaque reddish brown with a small off-white head. The nose has plenty of sweet rotten fruit and acetone. Medium body, sweet berry-like fruit and wood - think Rodenbach. Again noble rot, very sweet dessert wine yet with an extreme acetic tartness in the finish. 070411

Bottled. Hazy orange/brown. Acidic nose with plenty of toffee behind. Medium-full bodied with caramelly malt and vinegary acidity that creates a burning sensation. Big flavours, but a bit messy.

Cloudy red brown beer, residual off white head. Light palate, semi dry. Moderate carbonation. Tart medicinal toned Worcester Sauce! Some paradoxical sweet notes. A little cherry underneath. Finishes dry with a lingering tart aftertaste. Very drinkable.

Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen
Cloudy red to dark amber color. It has a strange smell of pond water that covers the rest (fruity aroma, with some vinegar and other fruity esters). Sweetish Belgian Ale, with sharp acidity as complement for some sweetness, but also acetone. Low bitterness. A trace of sweet liquorice in the final.
Controversial.
