Brown in color, light head. Sour taste, a bit of cherry. Tartness at the beginning but the sweetness of the berry taste is what pushes this beer forward. Tried at BBF, 2011.

Bottle brought home from Olbutiken. Dark amber brown colour with small golden head which soon goes. Aroma is fruity, bit of vinegarry sourness, bit of funk and a bit vinous. Taste is very nice. Lots of sour fruit initially builds to a fizz in the mouth and then mellows into a bit of sugar sweetness at the end. The after taste is quite unusual and very long lasting. Something even a bit savoury about it. A real pleasure to drink, never at any stage overpowering. Just plain lovely.

una edizione speciale che mikkeller produce per i più curiosi. Una birra dal gusto deciso e dall’aroma che avvolge la bocca di un dolce-acido che resta per molto tempo.

Thx! to Belgbeergeek // #40 Mikkeller rating // not a big fan of the artist who makes these label but I am not drinking this for the label // dark slightly hazy Bordeaux, small white head // lots of tart fruits, heavy on vinegar, touch paint thinner, sour malt, sour berry vinegar, red wine vinegar – apparently mellowed down now, fresh this was apparently pure pain thinner, cool // slightly sweet vinegar taste, sour berries, cherries, sour tannins hint, paint stripper, lots of sour malt, vinegar finish, small cranberry & sweet side, even touch sugar below the vinegar, harsh man, I love this, raw, industrial-esque, its both sweet & quite sour // med. carb, dry & dries the mouth // I am intrigued (50 cl. bottle split)

Bottle thanks to darkguardian. Clear amber in color with no head. Flavors of dark fruit, cherries, and caramel malt. Really a fantastic blend.....

Pours cloudy mahogany into a tulip. Off-white head pancakes as it recedes to mottle surface. Toasted sourdough and tart summer pit fruit aromas. Sweet, earthy and full upfront turning to tart strawberry and raspberry before the lasting sour cherry and balsamic finish. Similar to Rodenbach...

Drought @ Mikkeller bar. Hazy murky brown pour, thin off-white head. Aroma of balsamic vinegar, varnish and oak. Flavor is very sour but still very drinkable with a high complexity. Very nice brew.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2013 Bottle from Davis Beer Shoppe. Aromas of raspberries, cherries, and slight funk. Berry flavors burst on the tongue along with sour pucker. Almost tastes of tart strawberry-rhubarb pie filling. Palate was very good, slightly tart lingers on the end of the tongue. Excellent beer.
